Kia vehicles are very sensitive, have very tight tolerances. Added this at 10,000 miles. It totally bogged my engine down and now it is all gunked up! It is the only thing I changed. Now my car accelerates like a sluggish snail! Thought I was having transmission problems, transmission shop says "must be the engine still breaking in, we don't see anything wrong with the trans but the engine feels bogged down". It was fine before the xado, accelerated super zippy. I now have to wait until it wears off (60,000 miles??) Before my car goes back to normal. Switched to 0w-20 to help speed up the process. There was no room for a cermet coating in a brand new kia, the tolerances were already tight enough! If you have a HIGH MILEAGE kia engine with noise due to engine wear, this could be a great help, but for a brand new kia, don't even think about it!!! It will bog down the engine!
