I rarely write reviews, but I had to share our experience. My infant son had been struggling with cradle cap for weeks. We tried oils, gentle combing, and other baby shampoos, but nothing worked — until we found this shampoo. After just TWO washes, his cradle cap was completely gone! I was honestly shocked by how quickly we saw results. Even better — he didn’t lose any hair, which was one of my biggest concerns with other treatments. His scalp looked clean, healthy, and flake-free without any irritation or dryness. It’s gentle, smells great, and clearly works. I’m so relieved we found something that actually helped without causing more issues. Highly, highly recommend to any parent going through the same thing. Total game-changer!

My baby had craddle cap. It was terrible we tried the baby oil trick we brushed and brushed. His head looked like giant scales were everywhere and he lost so much hair because of it. We even tried steroid cream prescribed by the Dr. That helped some but we ran out of the cream b4 it did any real food to him. I used this shampoo 3xs and the results were incredible. Every time you could see a significant difference. I wish I would have taken pics to show you b.c we were shocked at the difference. When I used it I would put some of the soap in a wash cloth, lather his head wait like 30 seconds and use a baby brush to brush his head in a motion like u would brush your teeth. And the scales came off. It didnt seem to bother him at all. He smiled and cooed the whole time. Usually b.c of the c.cap his head always looked so dry and it seemed itchy b.c he would throw his hands and scratch certain spots. Eveb with the steroid cream it would still appear dry and when the flakes would come off it would leave what looked like scratches. This shampoo has been a blessing. He's not scratched at his head, the results are incredible, and his scalp has moisture to it again. I would reccomend this to everyone. I wish I had it for my older child who I struggled with this problem with too.

Used this on baby ever since she was a newborn (she's now 5 months) and we have had no tears! She developed baby acne around 4-5 weeks and I had to use hydrocortisone since it kept getting worse when doing nothing. But when I stopped using the hydrocortisone cream, the acne snuck back within days. Eventually cradle cap developed (I've read that they can be related issues). For cradle cap I tried aquaphor soaks but found it impossible to wash out completely. Thanks to this baby wash, the flakes of cradle cap were gone with a light scrubbing after two baths in two days. I used this on her face for the acne and could see improvement (drying at the red spots) after the first bath. There is a light scent but I find it pleasant and less fragrant than Johnson & Johnson. I've switched completely from using Aveeno baby wash to this and couldn't be happier! (I even use it to wash my own face because it doesn't over dry my skin) Update: at 9 months old our baby was diagnosed with eczema and the doctors suggested eczema lotion to control the dry skin and red patches. After using the lotion on her face we noticed greasy and more irritated skin. It started to look like baby acne creeping back so I used the shampoo on her face. The redness and rash went away by the next day! Update 2: Now 3 years old, we still use this because we live the scent, it washes clean and I even use it occasionally as a clarifying shampoo. It isn’t over drying like most other shampoos for kids so we will continue to use this as long as it’s still available. The conditioner is equally divine.

This has been a huge help for our son’s cradle cap. With just the first use we already noticed a giant difference. I have seen some reviewers mention hair loss, so we’ve kept a careful eye to see if this is an issue for us. My son does not appear to be losing any more hair than he was prior to using this product. His hair feels clean after his bath with a pleasant smell. We like applying it with a silicone scrubber. It’s very reasonably priced for how much product we received.

After reading the various reviews, and trying the oil/combing method of clearing up a moderate case of cradle cap on our very young baby without luck, I decided to give this product a try. After the first shampoo, there was a noticeable improvement in the areas toward the edge where it was less intense looking (even a friend noticed the difference right away without me even mentioning that we used the special shampoo). Where the cradle cap was more intense/flakey/crusty, it took a bit longer--plus I still needed to work to gently comb out the scaly/crusty parts. But, I only had to do that once or twice--and it kept improving dramatically every time. I'd say it took about two weeks to get it all looking in much better shape, but it was a two weeks well spent--and money well spent. It's been several months now and our little guy's head had stayed looking great! I've been lathering in the shampoo first when I bathe him now, then letting it sit while I wash up the rest of him, then comb through his hair a bit to be sure to keep getting any stray flakes before rinsing. I'm not really sure that I'd need to do that anymore, and will probably stop soon, but I wanted to make sure the cradle cap didn't come back--and it hasn't. I'd definitely recommend giving this shampoo a try. It has a pleasant scent, and I'm grateful he's looking so much better!

I was hesitant to purchase this shampoo, but my daughter is 7months old and her cradle cap was pretty bad. After 4 uses my daughter's cradle cap is mostly gone, she has a tiny patch left right on top of her soft spot. I highly recommend it!

Paired this with the Safety First Cradle cap and comb and it did wonders! Firstly the smell of the shampoo was great and helped to mask the awful cradle cap smell. Next the combination of the shampoo+ comb did wonders to remove the cradle cap quickly within a week or so and without fuss!

Good product that effectively removed the cradle cap over several sessions. Pleasant smell as well
