Great story!
This is so good! The Manga and anime follow each other closely. I like the manga as much as the anime. The artwork is awesome!

Great Start
Seraph of the End vol 1 offers an introduction to a different take on the vampire apocalypse but focusing in on some virus that eradicated anyone who was 13 and older. Along with the death of these people mysterious supernatural creatures, the Four Horseman of John, have rose to inflict terror on the survivors. Offering humans safety, vampires rose and imprisoned the survivors treating them as if they were livestock supplying them blood. The story focused on one group of kids from the Hyakuya sect, a religious organization with beliefs unstated, who are trying to make due with what they got. Mika and Yu are the older brothers who are taking care of their younger siblings and both got about it differently, Mika offering up his blood to the nobles and Yu trying to get stronger to take down the vampires. The setting is dystopian and dark yet hopeful and encouraging. By focusing on kids who are bright eyed and eager, on the surface, we get a different take on this than we would otherwise with adults trying to rise up against their captors. I found it immensely enjoyable as well to see the kids display honest pure reactions when faced with pain and despair truly embracing that the hope they sought was not realistic, even Yu admits in some jokey moment that even he knows that he isn't strong enough to take on the bloodsuckers. Some protagonists take volumes to reach such a state.Regardless, as things come to a head, some truth regarding the world is shown leaving Yu feeling utterly conflicted. Tons of additional questions pop up, especially regarding the convenience of Krul showing up when she did and Guren showing up when he did, and .Extras include a mini poster in color, which was a page spread in the magazine, chibi art with silly comments from the characters, an terminology page, and an afterward.

I like Seraph of the end a lot and I feel like it's referencing The Book of Revelations
I watched Seraph of the end anime a few years ago I liked it a lot and for the longest time I had been meaning to pick up the manga because the manga goes further than the anime and so far I've liked the longest but I've realized that the Seraph of the end story is sort of based off the Book of Revelationseven as a Christian I like the Seraph of the end storyI will edit this when I get done reading the first chapter

“You humans live solely at the mercy of us vampires.”
Humans have caused an epidemic that kills every adult on earth, and vampires take advantage to emerge from the shadows and enslave what’s left of humanity.Orphan Yuichiro and his friends are kept as little more than a food supply for the vampires, and he dreams of escape to the world above. But the cost of disobedience is high…The core ideas and general world are interesting, but Vampire Reign fell into usual Shounen trappings very quickly after strong prologue. The”normal” school setting seems out of place and very forced, and it would have been more compelling to spend significantly more time in the Vampire world, which was intriguing and different. There’s potential here, but the jury’s out so far. I have a few more volumes available, so we’ll see how it goes.

All aboard for the Feels Express!
I absolutely love this series! I love it so much I just purchased volumes 2,3, and 4! I love a good Manga with an excellent plot and even better plot twists, and this has both! The story thus far is captivating and I will admit I did cry! If you are like me and love a good action pact manga with blood and again a good plot story, then Seraph of The End is the manga for you! I could give detail about the story but I really feel that you yourself should experience it. I bought this series on a whim, and it was the best decision I have made! Hopefully this helps if you have any doubts! ;)
