Wonderful Shoes!
My son loves these shoes! We usually order New Balance because they offer the extra wide option but I really don't like that the cloth material shows wear and tear more easily. These shoes have held up great and still look new! They are easy to clean and most messes can be wiped off with a rag. I also love the laces. My son is learning how to tie his shoes and the laces are easy for him to hold and they have not started to unravel like the New Balance ones seem to do. The shoes fit as expected and they offer good support. They are also easy to get on and off. I would highly recommend these shoes to any parent!

I like Saucony for my son who has an extra wide ...
my son has had 3 pairs of the red and gray. I like Saucony for my son who has an extra wide food and a high instep and these fit awesome. He is a very active child and these wear awesome. I have ordered other colors but these by far are my fav style and color. Also, I am big on shoes w/ laces which are heard to fine for my 3 yr old.son has had 6 pairs of Saucony so far and don't plan on changing that

I ordered the wide width and I am glad I did
Previous reviews said the shoe size ran small. My little guy has some rather "thick" feet. I ordered the wide width and I am glad I did. I almost wish I would have ordered the extra wide. They are a good shoe and apparently more comfortable than his last pair. He seems to kick these off way less. The length and width are great, I just wish the shoe was built a little bit higher to allow a little more room.

Ok, but I feel like they are poor craftsmanship...
The price was great. I really do like Saucony shoes for my son because they are cute, and come in the wide sizes he needs. However, I am somewhat disappointed however in the craftsmanship. If you have both shoes right next to each other you can tell they were not made with the same standards, e.g. the shape of the mesh on the toes of the left shoe is different than the shape on the right shoe. I actually think I may return them because I know this is going to bug me...

Don't go by width.
This shoe was supposed to be a extra wide. Our son wears a.f.o's , so we have to buy extra wide shoes. These were no wider than a regular shoe. Very displeased.

Great, sturdy shoes
We just bought the second pair of these for our 2 year old in the next size up. The previous ones lasted a whole season through snow, dirt, etc and held up amazingly. He's just outgrown them so we're on to the next size and I gladly bought the same shoes again. He has a wide foot and the wide width works great for him.

Awesome for kids that wear orthotics!
I have a son that has Down Syndrome and recently was fitted with AFO's. I love that Saucony offers extra wide and they are so nice and flexible that has helped improved my son's walking tremendously versus the stiff, bulky shoes that came with his orthotics. Of course they they take a little breaking into at first to fit the AFO, but they are wonderful!

We love Saucony children's shoes!
The fit is spot on, and they are great shoes for little feet. Research says that the sole of a shoe should be extremely flexible for children to help them walk and run (especially when learning to do both of these). Even as adults, we tend to prefer shoes with more flexible soles. When my son wears shoes with soles that are stiff, he falls a lot more and trips over his own feet. With these, he doesn't have a single problem running around no matter what the surface. They are well worth the price! The only downside is that the front rubber toe part isn't more durable. Our son likes to drag his feet when riding the little bikes at his daycare, and this wears holes in the toes much faster than the shoes with the reinforced rubber toes.
