Where do I start with this gorgeous book? I own more bird books than you can imagine, and I have no idea how I got along without this one for so long. The photographs are stunning, as is all the information. This is a big book you'll be consulting every day for the joy of looking and reading about the birds you love.

Even better than I imagined! High quality hardback and paper stock. Has 4 chapters (Backyard Bird Species, Birdwatching for Beginners, Attracting Birds, and Birds in Art). The Birds in Art chapter has past and current artists, which I am looking forward to reading. Tons of photos, artwork, and geographical color maps to locate where you might find certain birds. I wouldn't recommend for taking out in the field - book itself is slightly damaged on the back so I don't think it's meant to be outside.

Love this Book ! Quality Printing. Nice Paper. Good Size to hold in hands. All and Interesting facts about birds in my area. My husband and I have become bird lovers- our "Woodland Friends" !

Really great book! Complete book on not only information about the birds, but also how to go about being a bird watcher and how to set bird habitats up for yourself. Hardcover and beautiful pictures!

Beautiful book, lots of info

I purchased this beautiful bird book for my friend who adores these flying dinosaurs!! I really like this one whenever I found it because the front cover is a beautiful illustration and it’s also hard cover. Not to mention it’s a pretty sizable book so I think it would make for a really good decor piece. I included a picture of my hand on the front of the book for reference. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the back of the book is weirdly marked with some white markings, but the outside covered does not affect the gorgeous material on the inside So it’s not a big deal!!

One of the most beautiful books I have ever had the privilege to own. The book is brimming to burst with the most gorgeous photos of every bird imaginable. Full of great useful information, and perfectly presented. A great gift for every bird watcher or just the casual companion to a backyard bird-feeder.

Very disappointed! The book looks very nice but arrived absolutely destroyed.
