I got these hooks for a crochet project--my first tunisian crochet project and finding the right size hooks with cables turned out to be a challenge. These hooks "saved the day" for me and they turned out to be excellent hooks. The hook part was deep enough and angled properly to hold stitches and it was easy to insert into stitches without splitting the yarn. They were buttery smooth and I loved the wooden bead at the end as it was big enough to hold everything even when the project got to be fairly large. My only complaint, if there is one, is that the plastic cable did have a tendency to kink. But if I pulled on the wooden bead at the end of the cable and straightened the cable, the kink disappeared so it really wasn't an issue. The needles worked well and were light enough to use effectively even when my project grew very large and heavy. The hooks came in a red velvet bag and overall, I was very pleased with my purchase. These larger sized crochet hooks are very difficult to find. None of my local stores had them. So I was glad that the set that I got worked so well. They were comfortable to use. I had no problems at all.

Amazing value. I teach Tunisian and have bought dozens--maybe hundreds--of Tunisian hooks. I bought these to have mores sizes to demonstrate than came with my expensive interchangeable sets.. I also give a hook with yarn to all my beginners. I was proud to give these. None of them have the typical burrs that snag yarns. All are joined to the cable. The cables are long enough for sweaters and afghans. Even the smallest hook did not break with use. The heads are nicely shaped to grab the yarn. These are now my "go to" hook.

These are a good value for the $. Hooks are bamboo, smooth and comfortable to use. The tubing gives them an odor but if left out to air, it dissipates in a few hours. The length of the tubing is easily adjusted by creating a knot below the wooden bead if your project is not as long/wide. Easily remedied for later changes when done. Comes with a bag. Nothing special.

I was surprised by how nice these felt based off how inexpensive they were. I was expecting to need to sand down some rough areas, but I haven't needed to. The actually included a mini emory board in case it was needed - so far I haven't used it, but appreciate the consideration. The cords feel durable and are easily pliable. I'm new to Tunisian crochet and these hooks have made my efforts easier. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Not my favorite. The bamboo itself has lots of splinters that make the yarn get stuck. That’s an easy fix though. I just file those little bits away. My main issue is that the connecting point between the hook and cable is not smooth at all. I have to manually move my yarn instead of it having slide like with my other more expensive hooks.

Just wonderful hooks. The wood is very smooth, polished, cords are adhered properly. I had tried this brand once before when I needed double ended Tunisian hooks. I was happy with those, so decided to try this brand again. Very pleased. I examined them and found no rough edges. My project got lengthy, so midway thru decided that I needed hooks with a soft flexible cord. Drawstring bag is perfect to keep them stored all together. I would definitely recommend. Arrived before scheduled delivery time which also was a plus. Our Amazon drivers around here are very good & we do appreciate them!

Absolute garbage. They just stuck plastic tubing onto the hooks. The tubing has a distinct ridge so yarn snags in transition and you can’t change the tubing because it stops holding the shape and falls off.

I needed tunisian hooks for a sweater project I wanted to start and found these. These are pretty decent quality and would definitely buy them again. The littlest hooks can sometimes feel flimsy while crocheting but its not enough to make a fuss over consider the price. The seller sent an email with a tunisian stitch learning pdf as well as some tunisian crochet projects to make, which was super sweet!! I looked through the how to guide and it was very helpful with my sweater project.

These are perfect Tunisian hooks. So glad they arrived. They are light and the cable is just the right length. Easy to use. Much easier to use than the long metal Tunisian hooks. A must have for any one who crochets.
