Bought this because I am always coloring my moms hair for her (I am no professional) but she mainly wants her roots colored and this product is great because it comes with everything you need! It works great. Easy to clean the brushes, and the cover, easy to use and put back into the packaging to store for a later use.

To start this is very good value for cost. I was mainly looking for something that came with ear covers because I'd just gotten some piercings done and I didn't want to get dye all over them. Long story short, I gave up on the ear covers half way through because I ended up making a mess trying to keep them on. Other than that you get everything listed and it's surprisingly nice quality. I've put it through 4 different processes, including bleach toner and dye, and it's still all like new. Functional, sturdy, fits in a nice size bag, but not great ear covers if you are looking for that.

No lie, this is one of my best ever Amazon purchases. I touch up my roots a few times a year when I can’t get to a salon, and inevitably I’m missing, like, one key item. This kit has reusable gloves, mixing bowl, comb, and hair color brush that clean up easily, and because they’re black they don’t look stained. The cape is also a nice touch. Previously I just wore an old tshirt and threw it out, but this makes much more sense. One thing that isn’t reusable (because it’s not possible) are the shower caps, and somehow they found the cheapest and flimsiest ones imaginable. I just bought a drugstore pack and threw a handful in the case. Everything gets put away neatly in the case when you’re done, so next time you color you’re not searching for latex gloves, a rat-tail comb, etc. I use root touch-up kits with built-in applicators, but from using this kit I learned that dispensing into a bowl and using a hair color brush gives me superior coverage. This is a great value due to the quality of the materials and the thought that went into it.
