This year a lot of us are working from home, myself included. Recently I purchased a deskmat from <another vendor> to underlay my keyboard and mouse. It was sliding around on my veneer wooden desktop a lot, though, and little footies that I robbed from another widget didn't help. So I bought this rug gripper, and it works GREAT. I was easily able to cut it down to size and place it under the desk mat and it sticks with no actual adhesive. All but the largest lateral forces will fail to move this thing. The one hitch in the clip is that you need to be sure to lay the rug grip FLAT. If it kinks up or bows up, you'll notice a lump in whatever you've got on top of it. For me, it resulted in a tilted desk mat until I fixed the gripper!

excellent non-skid pad and the price was better than any others I saw. It's under a rug on a tile floor. The rug was extremely slippery. It was definitely a fall hazard. Now with the pad it doesn't move. It also makes it more comfortable to walk on the rug. My cat loves how soft the new rug is.

**** UPDATED I have a couple of runners (narrow rugs) that are losing their rubber backing, so they slide all over my tile floors. I was looking for a solution to reduce the slipping, without using an adhesive product to stick the rugs to the floor. This worked great for about 3 days. The problem is that the rubber coating on the back of my runner is crumbling, and leaves a fine dust residue all over the floor. So once this dust builds up enough, even this rubber pad starts to slip around :/ I think this product would be very effective if I didn't have this dust issue.

Perfect under for under our rugs that don’t have a rubber backing. You can order all types of sizes and cut them to fit with ease. Even works for under my yoga mat!. Used the extra cut piece for it. They barely have a rubber smell to them. You can hand wash if needed and hang dry. They’re not even noticeable cause they’re thin but they do the job! Rugs don’t go sliding anymore! Lol. We love them.

The rug I bought this for would slid across the floor effortlessly and I needed to get something to make it stay in its place. Over time rubber backed rugs loose their ability to stay in place as it seems with age what ever they use on that type of rug falls apart. This non slip pad does the trick and keeps my rug right where I put it so if you have a problem rug this is a great solution. It comes in many sizes so that is a plus too.

These are very nice rugs but, the carpet backing to eliminate slipping on hardwood floors do not grip very well on my floor, perhaps my floors are more slick than other floors. The good news the carpet was very affordable and i received my order in just one day!
