I moved to a cooler location and wanted to expand on my vegetable gardening, used to live where the season was long and you could fairly easily grow a bountiful harvest. Now cooler, shorter growing season so wanted to become more familiar with how fast the soil warms up and how to position both my fiber growing bags i am trying this year and the metal raised beds i bought. so far, they do as advertise, how accurate they are i can't tell you for sure but i think accurate enough and help you get a feel for your soil temperatures and when to plant various crops, especially warm season ones like tomatoes, beans, peppers, etc.

This works great for monitoring the soil temp in my raised bed garden. It is easy to use and see. I would recommend this item.

Fast service, good product good price. I have 2 large compost bins. I use two different thermometers. Both work very well, both are from Reotemp. One has been giving me exact info for over 3 years, the other is new and it also gives me exact info.

“Free Digital Composting Guide Included - Expert instructions on how to get started composting and managing your compost pile for the most efficient compost production.” I have to blame myself. I didn’t catch the fact that the composting guide was digital. Sure enough if you scan the QR code, you get a pretty simple 3 sheet PDF graphic. As for the instruction, I would not consider it “expert” To get a really active compost pile going, you will probably want to do more research.

I wanted to keep track of the ground temperature, 8-10" down, where I planted a bunch of tree seedlings. This is working well. It is sturdy made and adjusts quickly for each spot I check. I have been careful not to push it into the ground by the face. My guess is it will last many years.

A tool that every gardener who grows vegetables must have. This one has particularly long stem that helps test soil temperatures deep below the surface.

So far so good. Accurate and hasn't misted up like the previous brand did (not this make of thermometer).

I love the accuracy of it and the shaft is plenty long enough for my needs.

I udes this to test my compost temperature. Did what I expected it to and no complaints.

I havnt cross referenced accuracy but its as advertised and what you'd expect at the price point. 5 stars at the price 4 stars on quality
