Great find in very delicious
This is so delicious and I use them every year in my turkey stuffing as chestnuts are hard to find in the grocery store or way too expensive and these are already peeled.

Delicious and easy!
These chestnuts were delicious! Is used them to make my mother's chestnut dressing recipe for Thanksgiving. She always bought fresh ones, but I would never go to all that work of boiling and shelling them! These chestnuts in a jar were every bit as good as fresh ones!

Great texture - cooked but no in any way mushy. Recommend!
Needed chestnuts for Thanksgiving dressing and also to eat. Chestnuts yum. These are clean, cooked through, NOT in any way mushy, and serve the purpose beautifully. I would happily buy again and will for Christmas!

Would Not Buy Again.
Not a good value. Many chestnuts were dark/black. Many were broken. They did not taste fresh. They did not taste like much at all. And they were expensive (as most chestnuts are). From France, but maybe these should have been fed to the gourmet pigs there instead of shipped to humans.
