Worth it!
So as far as value, it's a silly price to pay for a total of 5 berry's. However, it was fun as heck. As for the flavor, there wasn't much. There was a slight sweetness. So it wasn't unpleasant at all. Now for the fun stuff: Lemon, Lime, Strawberries, Iced Tea-no sugar (This hurt me to the core. Iced tea should have sugar), cream cheese, Warheads, Sour Patch Kids and pretty much anything else that would shock your taste buds and wreck your face. I personally dont do well with sour. My kids have been messing with me for years just to see my facial expressions...........until we tried these. Make sure you follow instructions! Start with the lemon. It seems to prong the effect. Plain old out of season strawberries tasted as if you had dipped it in sugar. Warheads and Sour Patch Kids didn't have any effect. There is definitely a reason they call this "Taste Tripping". I mean, I imagine this is what the kid must have been tasting in Super Trooper's. Anyway, I'm a big fan of the lemon with the berry's. It tasted exactly like lemonade. It seemed to last different lengths of time for the five of us. My oldest boy tried the lemon first and his seemed to work quite a long time. I believe just over an hour. He tried to eat some tamales with some hot sauce and he about choked on it. He said it tasted ridiculously sweet. This was just over an hour after chewing the berry. So keep that in mind as well. It wore off for the rest of us from anywhere between 20 to 40 minutes. Totally worth the fun. I'll likely buy them at least one more time to share with friends but that would likely be the extent for me.

Well worth setting up a taste test!
What a fun evening with several friends, trying out various flavors after ingesting this fruit!! We all chose to chew on 2 halves putting them in our mouths one at a time. They tend to mostly dissolve leaving a small amount of pulp; we chewed on one for about a full minute, then did the same with the 2nd halves, really moving it around the mouth & concentrating on the tongue. Right after we dove into several plates of prepared foods including slices of lemon, limes, pineapple, grapefruit, orange and grapes. We also had Texas Pete, salsa, cheddar cheese pieces, balsamic and malt vinegar. Wow!!! Some LOVED the flavor of one (or 2 or3) but not another, but all had big smiles as the miracle fruit did its job. Great fun for small parties to experiment! You will be surprised at some point on how your taste senses are impacted. I highly recommend it for your next get together!! The sensation lasted for roughly 25 minutes before things returned to “normal”). This would make fun gift as well. Just be sure to cut up everything to be ready as soon as your done chewing the small betty halves!! Then let the fun begin!!

Pros and cons for 1/2 berry
The item was shipped and packaged appropriately. The berries are freeze dried and should not be chewed at all because it won't coat the entire tongue. Product was good!

Works well!
I bought these berries for my friend for her birthday along with a Miracle Berry Seedling. I must admit that I was skeptical as to whether these berries would work or not. Low and behold, we tried tried them upon opening. First we ate the berry. It didn't taste bad at all. It may even be a little tasty but I only tried one as the bag is very small, kind of like a sampler. After we ate the berry, we drank a small amount of straight and unsweetened Lemon juice. We were all blown away. The Lemon juice was not sour at all. It was sweet, just as it was supposed to be. We were astonished. It was really quite a nice birthday gift as it was so much fun to try out. So yes. These berries do the trick and the delivery was prompt!

works for the price
Value for money: not too bad for the price but definitely prefer the real miracle berry brand over this. it works but not for more than around 15 mins.

Very cool
Very intriguing fruit. It does what it says. I bought limes lemons and tried them and they were not sour after eating the miracle berry. It makes sweet tastes even sweeter. I like to see my friends and families reaction to trying it.

Halves at this price is a crime!!
Unfortunately these did not work, and at this price , for halves. That's a horrible exploitation of price gouging. I would have returned them but there were six of us ,so it was mostly gone before we noticed. Halves, remember, halves. This is an atrocious waste of money for what they provide.

Really works. I might invest in my own tree after this.
So I have been meaning to buy a miracle berry tree because I do like to grow rare and exotic trees. However, I was pretty skeptical about the effects of the miracle berry. Most sellers tend to sell this berry pretty expensive and I just wanted to know if these was worth attempting to grow it. I do not have a sweet tooth but I thought this would be pretty cool to try. When I got them I had no lemons or tart fruit around only a bag of honey-crisp apples (slightly less sweet than most honey-crisp). I ate half an apple, waited ~10 and rinsed my mouth with water. I took one half of the fruit and just swirled it along my tongue for a minute or two (yes, I know it says you only need to suck on it for a few seconds, but I was curious about the flavor of the berry as much as its effect on taste). I resumed eating the other half of my apple and actually winced at the initial bit. It tasted of pure sugar with a hint of apple. The subsequent bits were not as intense but definitely sweeter than the first half. While, I don't think you have to wait in-between bits or rinse your mouth just to get the effect, I needed to be thorough as I am looking to invest quite a bit into a 2yr old miracle berry tree.

We got these as a fun activity to try for my birthday, and they worked like a charm! We definitely noticed a difference when used properly, so make sure you follow the directions; chew it and swish it around in your mouth for a full 30 seconds. My saliva was building up, but I just kept swishing it around like mouthwash. Don't swallow too early. Although pretty tasteless when you start chewing it (and it seems to dissolve in your mouth), your saliva will begin to taste sweet, and you know it's working! It's supposed to last from 15 mins to an hour depending on the person. For me, I got 45 mins out of my one piece (which is equal to half a berry). We tried everything in the picture from sour candies to salt and vinegar chips to actual balsamic vinegar. The sour kraut was still gross, but man the LEMONS. We used lemons and pomelos (like giant grapefruits from Israel), and they were SWEET like oranges. The salt and vinegar chips tasted like ketchup chips! Oh man, you have to try fresh cranberries. No word of a lie, we were eating them by the handful. The various berries were awesome. Don't waste your time with plain yogurt. We also tried it with ginger beer and pomegranate juice. The liquid didn't wash away the effect. I fully recommend this product. The only thing I noted was that the first time was the best time. I tried it again subsequently the same night and it didn't last as long, nor was the effect as strong. I would save them for a once in a while treat.

If you or someone you know has had their taste change to bitter from Radiation treatment etc this is a MUST!!! A TRUE miracle and the value of being able to eat / drink is unmeasurable after trying everything. It will help with drinking and eating to get some nutrition in. Try to add some water/baking soad/salt rinse to give a bit more moisture in your mouth. Than, give it 5 minutes after you chew/swish it in your mouth. Use 2x halves to increase the sweetness if you find it still a bit bitter. Last for about 15 min or so after taking it. I also tried the pill type you suck, which is ok, but find this better. Kids will get freaked out when they try it - lemon tastes sweet, and a raspberry tastes like a sugar cube. Enjoy and good luck!

I came into this feeling afraid and I still am. I had been contemplating the miracle berry for fourteen years before finally placing my first freeze-dried berry half into my mouth, and nibbling on it like a rabbit. (This is the second time I have eaten something freeze dried… I think. It was ice cream once, ice cream meant for the moon, but it never made it there. Maybe the moon doesn’t exist anymore? I know engineers like ice cream, are astronauts engineers, or are they pilots? It doesn’t matter so much in space.) Deliberate nibbles turn sweeter and sweeter and sweeter until a saccharine veil clouds the mouth. We long for more. (I can’t believe I am writing a review for a berry.) The berry itself tastes like a semi-sour gummy, with hints of an M’n’M that has been in my pocket for a while. Chew carefully and slowly, friends, as the instructions tell you. And wait… Also, you may want to spit out the seed casing. At first, I was unsure it worked at all. The lemon tasted so much like a lemon. Remember Tang? Sweet pickle? Lemon?! (Is this normal? They were spheres of yellow, maybe yellow, like maybe lemon, but these miracle berries take that away from you. Maybe lemon, maybe the moon. There are entire pulp print magazines designed for this. Is it a lemon?) Soda water? Like drinking the stuff I make for hummingbirds. My stomach performed somersaults while I sucked on lemon rinds. 100% is a little too much, so sweet, like someone stirred sugar into it, cloyingly sweet, flat, gritty without delight. (FOMO crept into my mind - was everyone else experiencing things much more intensely than I was? Did I chew it wrong? Was it all just…hype? One of the facts of life must be wanting...The promise of fruitier fruit! The possibility of palatable hot sauce! The ease of glugging balsamic vinegar! The thrill of white bread! Free shipping! Remorseful customers who viewed x also bought y. An equitable redistribution of wealth by whatever means necessary. Yes please!) We all find ourselves in times of wanting to be something or someone other than who we are. Who hasn’t desired a day or an hour as another? I was in good company – we increased our dose. One more half, then a third. I chewed more carefully. This time the acidic foods really shone. Limes, sauerkraut and grapefruit transformed into ambrosial, magic bites. We dressed up in miraculous costumes to get in the mood. (My daughter was not convinced by my description of sweet limes, and showed no interest in nibbling on Dad’s strange berries, and after asking her more than three times I started to feel like a creepy pusher, so I stopped.) I didn’t even notice the lack of sourness (But I did). My grapefruit cocktail was sweet, but not cloying, like Tang but with quality ingredients. Flavour trip close to bedtime, as you will feel very strange, and your dreams will intensify. While the Richberry Miracle Berry will not fundamentally change who you are, it is the closest approximation to life as another – albeit temporary – that you can buy for $9.99 (USD). The pungent kick of a pickle is now a wet crunch coated in cough syrup. A sample of predominantly complex and irrelevant tasting notes: Pink Lady / Cripps Pink Apple, with Sriracha: “Initial warm sensation with a nibbling, garlic flavour that really shines through. A weird dense undertone that I can’t explain. No compromise on crunch. It might have been cheese the whole time?” Tomatoes: “The cognitive dissonance is upsetting. No! It’s a thrill! They’re like candy! Tastes like Mark’s childhood, but sweeter.” Pink lady cocktail: “Like that. The cocktail tastes like it has been spiked with stevia.” Parmesan: “Honeyed rubber with a hint of sand.” Combos: “Dark chocolate and sriracha – very complex and delicious. Balsamic and dark chocolate takes on new complexity – regret. Tomato with balsamic strangely tastes more like a regular tomato – the tang returns.” In memory the tasting party feels like a brief trip into parallel reality where everything is the same, except for what happens in your mouth. Or is it your brain? (Objects changed, identical to yet not what they were, and I am left wondering what other changes occurred in other objects for that period of time. If a lemon is no longer a lemon, is a candle still a candle, a book a book? I drink with hummingbirds and suck on lemon rinds. Cough syrup, temporary FOMO. Childhood, but sweeter.) Where exactly does the Richberry Miracle Berry work? This, we cannot say. Miraculous? Life changing? Not so sure. Fun, most definitely. You won’t regret the taste trip, bring friends along. We can say: recommended. (Review by CLUB)

I have bought this multiple times because of how tasty it makes other things taste. I ate an entire lemon in one sitting with the miracle berries because it ends up tasting like sweet lemon-blueberry juice! However, I have a pack of these berries from a few months back. Eventually they get stale and do not have a strong effect at that point.

it left a okay ‘residue’ taste on my saliva that i think is what makes everything taste sweeter. the berry itself is kinda bad lol but you can taste it getting sweet after a bit. and lastly, it honestly is worth it to try atleast once in your life its a cool experience from normal fruits to how you’d expect fruit to taste like if that makes sense.
