I have made 1,000 and 1,000 of clones with things like Root Riot and had great success. It's my first time with Rockwool and it works Great. Took a group of cuttings, mix 1/4 strength Lucus Forumla on top of the rockwool in a tray, poked a small hole, loaded my cuttings, put a dome on it under light and in 6-7 days I had roots. No rooting hormone was used. I left the rockwool pretty wet for the first 3 or 4 days and then drained it to stress the plants a bit. Talk about easy and cheap!

Great for seed starting and plants for fish tanks. Easy to put seeds in and easy to clean up after you remove your starters

Concept is there, takes long time for germination. But very malleable for transplant .. not bad

We purchased this for our home made aeroponic tower garden. This product worked great. We had great success in growing a variety of vegetables from seeds. The growth rate varied for each vegetable. The rockwool retained moisture but did not grow any mold. I would recommend.

This particular rockwool falls apart easy. Delicate when using a blade to separate them. They work fine otherwise, retain liquids well, etc. Have had a fair number fall apart though, so there might be a higher quality version out there. I have used other rockwool before that was more dense that this particular batch. A decent mediocre quality. They definitely work though, 100% success cloning with them.

These Rockwool cubes came in and they are unlike any I have ordered from anyone, anywhere. I was blown away by the packing and the care that was taken to assure these arrived in perfect condition. They are packed in sturdy individual boxes and protected against any damage in shipping. They are beautifully compressed and perfectly uniform in size, shape and composition. I will NEVER buy Rockwool from anyone else! The value is also fantastic. 200 for 15.99. I bought some others from another Amazon seller and only got 50 for 16.99 and they were inferior and falling apart when they arrived. I have bought several versions of this product as I am a hydroponic farmer. You just can't beat these for the quality and the value. These are very poor quality and didn’t work at all! I had to buy another brand and start over. These got moldy and shriveled super fast!
