Elegant, heavy, solid strong buttons. Adjusting the strap was a piece of cake, it comes with a tool (kind of a thin iron rod) so you just look for the tiny holes on the side of the strap, insert the pointy end of the tool in the holes and push (I found some resistance, so I had to push hard to release the link). To put the iron rod back, just fit two links together, insert the thin iron rod you previously removed in the opposite side of the wholes (these are slightly smaller) and use the big round side of the tool provided to push the thin rod back in. That's it, you are all set. And the flashing sec light is not a problem at all, it blends perfectly with the watch, so unless you are really paying attention, is not annoying or whatsoever. Looks very reliable, and the price is awesome!

This is a great watch (so far) which is stylish to wear and has some great features . The only drawback I find with it is that the alarm, whilst it works fine, is rather quiet and certainly could not be used to wake me. Also the hourly chime feature is rather hit and miss, but that may be me not setting it properly every time as the digital display isn't very clear on some of the dials.The digital time display is a great additional feature as it makes reading the time in the dark really easy using the back light to illuminate it. For some reason the 1/100 sec screen flashes at random intervals and I haven't managed to work out why it does this, and the rather sparse instructions don't explain this feature. However all in all I am immensely satisfied with this watch and would recommend it to anyone. After my experiences with two Liege watches I ordered from Amazon, both of which had to be returned as they were faulty, this latest purchase has been a pleasant experience so far.

Gave this to my son for Christmas. He’s worn it max 5 times and it’s broken twice. Pins falling out. I’ve missed return window so just to worn others. Looks great and the mechanism of the watch is great. But the strap quality is appalling

This is an incredible watch and incredible value for money. I used to be a diehard Casio black stainless strap watch buyer. In the last couple of years their watch quality and range has declined (at least for black stainless steel strap models). I spotted this, and thought I would give it a punt based on the reviews. Wow.. I can't believe the quality. This is better than Casio watches worth 5-10 times as much. Chunky, looks great, well made, and functional. It even comes with a tool to shorten the strap! The only thing I would improve is that you have press a button to see the date on the digital display. If the date could be permanent it would perfection. Still, deserves 5 stars as it is.

Not the best purchase I've ever made. As far as watches go it's huge. I can't say that it's easy to use because it isn't, there's little contrast between the hands and the background of the dial. If you consider getting one, then go for the one with a dark dial background. The pointers are luminous but not very bright at night. The button to illuminate the dial only illuminates the four windows which are particularly useless anyway since they are difficult to read. There is an instruction manual written in English and German but the text is tiny. It's not very helpful either since it appears impossible to get the watch to display month and date constantly. Plus points are that it looks really cool and the watch comes with a tool to allow you to adjust the strap length. There are no instructions for doing this though so here's what you need to know: 1. Inset the tool in the side of the strap showing an indentation. 2. Press very hard to pop out the pin. You'll probably have to put some padding over the end of the tool and make sure you keep your fingers out of the way at the other side of the strap or you'll end up bleeding. 3. Remove the pin remembering which way round it fits. 4. After removing the required number of links use a pin to join the strap back together.

This is the best value budget priced watch I have seen. Comfortable and secure strap. ( I needed to take to a jewellers to remove links). Illumination for night-time is very useful. Love the fact that it has an electronic alarm and it chimes on the hour. Keeps good time: mine has lost 15 seconds in 5 months. Sturdy case and controls and looks like an expensive watch! Only downside is that the digital display is a little small for me. But, heyhoe, I'm nearly 60!
