Excellent deal with this kit! It is very beginner friendly, but even for someone skilled like me, it’s a fun addition. I do smaller projects that I crochet for random acts of kindness and the yarn has so many color choices; fun ones at that! I like having the user manual that shows the different stitches (because sometimes I have a moment of forgetfulness), stitch abbreviations, and how to read the crochet symbols which is something I’ve been wanting to learn. The plastic accessory kit inside has everything you’ll need. I REALLY love the hooks that came with it because I don’t have much of a pincher grasp due to an old injury between my thumb and index finger, so the grips really help. Hook quality is nice! They would be great for young kids just starting out. They have a nice grip and feel. I love that there are stitch markers and a row counter included, it definitely will be a great addition to helping me keep track and place. Now I will say this as far as the yarn but won’t remove the 5 stars because I knew what I was getting, they are small, but that’s okay by me because I can go by bigger skeins of yarn in a similar or close color if I like it. The yarn quality is nice; it’s a little thinner than I expected but for what this yarn is going to be used for, it’s actually perfect. The tote bag is the perfect size and nice quality; everything fits in nicely and I can take it with me if I want to crochet along the way or wherever I go. Plus being able to see inside without opening is neat. It’s definitely better than the shoebox of things I have! So for beginners, kids wanting to learn, anyone wanting to make small gifts, this is definitely a great choice especially for the price!

Excellent kit for beginners like me, came with absolutely everything needed to get started (as advertised), all the tools, user manual, lots of yarn colors and even a QR Code that directs you to a YouTube page for beginners! Only negative takeaway, is the yarn is super small, much thinner than the yarn I see in How-To videos BUT I also found a video that shows how to turn the thin pieces into thicker pieces so it works for now and when I get better I’ll go out and buy better yarn…But this kit definitely puts me off to a great start! 🥰

OK for starters, the colors are gorgeous and the yarn itself is extremely soft. Everything in the package came about as described, except for the number of yrds. I expected there to be 1600 yards per yard ball to make beanies but it wasn’t. The neon green one is from this kit while the pastel green one is how much I was able to get out of a dollar tree yarn ball. Takeaways: The kit is great for beginners trying out small projects, but for large projects its impractical. The yarn is extremely soft and shiny, so it can be hard yet rewarding to work with if it’s your first time(such as being hard to grip due to slip). My suggestion for beginners looking to practice would be to buy this kit but for more experienced people looking to make large projects I would suggest buying the tools from the actual yarn it self separately due to limited yrds of yarn.

Enjoyed using this as a starter kit for my new hobby. Lots of tools and yarn with many different colors that are pretty. The case it comes in is perfect size that makes it easier to carry.

Great gift for my 15 yr old

My oldest grand daughter settled down and taught herself to crochet producing several experimental strips testing tension and increasing and decreasing for shaping. She seems to have followed the crochet Manuel easily and was set up with range of coloured wools to start creating.

The product is amazing, same as predicted, and the material are amazing! It helped me a lot when i started to crochet, and it is nearly sufficient, everything i needed was there! It is the ultimate best starter pack! Also, all the colors are there, which is comforting, although i needed to buy more, since I finished them.

Positive: No regrets for purchasing this package as it really got me crocheting again. I am very happy with it. The assorted colors are lovely, adding enchantment to my work. Negative: the threads are loose in some areas and therefore getting trapped in the needle which is very annoying
