Excellent brush...
This is an excellent brush for watercolor. It holds a lot of water and maintains its point when painting, giving a lot of variance for brush strokes. It is my primary, regardless of paper size. Highly recommend.

Great for details
All the Princeton Neptune brushes are awesome, perfect for watercolor. I only needed this smaller sword brush for painting small tree branches and other finer detail. It holds a lot of pigment, so you can load it and paint a lot longer than with a rigger.

Great brush.
Love the versatility of this brush. Very soft bristles. Holds it shape well and no cracking after months of use. Holds a lot of water.

Learning curve
This dagger is my first dagger, after being influenced by Kristy Rice 😛. While the quality is excellent like all Princeton is, this needs a learning curve for beginners. It’s long and floppy seems like a struggle because it has a life of its own. once you understand the bristles it’s beautiful. As a beginner I would buy a smaller and stiffer dagger to iron out the initial frustration.

Exactly what I expected
This is a very nice brush for the money. It holds water and you can easily learn how to use it. So far, the bristles have kept their shape and point. It is not a large brush, so keep that in mind. It works very well for watercolor.
