Sturdy, easy to assemble, no light leaks. Excellent product. Not sure why there was so many reviews that it leaks light, as I have a 1200 watt light in it and not a peep of light. I bought the 3x3.. wish now I had gone touch bigger and got the foot taller (84 inch) to better fit my light and garden rack. Someone said no window needed, but I love that feature as I check my plants often especially when germinating. Weather your growing veg or cannibis.. this model is definitely multi functional. This just saved me building/heating an outside greenhouse. Thank you Vivosun. Already ordering some of their other products based on the quality of this tent. Oh.. only 1 issue.. its advertised as 72 inches tall, but mine came in at 71 inches and tight/sturdy so couldn't fit my wire garden rack in it. Had to fork out money for a smaller wire rack, but could have been avoided if I ordered the taller model.

I bought the 3x3x6 for my boas and it works perfectly, doesn’t need many alterations to be a great reptile enclosure. Zip tied the vent covers, cut an extra window and zip tied the screen to the fabric, the bars included can easily have lights zip tied to them too and I just zip open the door and lay it on top when I want it open. A simple 50 watt bulb raises the internal temp by 2-3 degrees for good night temps and I don’t need very high watt lights to heat it up for day temps.

This is the first grow tent I have ever bought, so It's not like I'm an old salt or something, but I am quite pleased with what I got for my money. I bought this tent to work as a mother room for cloning my medical marijuana plants. I have a commercial grower's license in my state and I'm trying to build a business out of my home. I've got an extra bedroom that I use for a flower room and a cabinet in the living room that I use to root my cuttings, but I had to come up with yet another place to grow some mother plants and I needed it in a hurry. I got on Amazon and started looking for a grow tent. The most common sizes came in multiples of four, like 2x4, 4x4 et cetera. My home is small and my space limited so a 4x4 was out, but I didn't think that a 2x4 would be enough tent for my situation. So I settled on the Vivosun 3x3 tent and I'm glad I did. The tent is a lot bigger than I thought it would be really. There is ample space for my diy flood and drain system and I feel like four medium plants will be very comfortable inside. I haven't used the "tool holder", but I feel like it may be a nice addition. The tool holder itself does seem cheaply made and I don't know how durable this particular part will be in the long run. As I read on other reviews, the sock tubes for ventilation are very tight. I put a rigid 6" duct coupler through the top hole on the left side and it was quite a squeeze, but I took my time and managed to get it in there without ripping anything. Inside I hung my Vivosun 440cfm fan which I think will provide plenty of fresh air to my moms. Unlike other reviewers, I think that the tube fitting tightly is a good thing. It will help avoid air and light leaks, and provides some small amount of lateral support for the fan itself. When I hooked up my "1200 watt" LED inside I did discover some pinprick light leaks, about a dozen or so on the door of the tent. I can't imagine these tiny holes allowing enough light in for anything and I'm not even subtracting a star for it. You actually have to move your head around and be looking at it from just the right angle to even notice them, and even in today's technological age manufacturing defects are part of life. Perfection is only a concept. Overall the tent seems like a good quality item, and it saved me at least some money and a great deal of time over building a wooden cabinet for my mothers. Only time will tell how well this will hold up but I am very satisfied with my purchase and I can't imagine getting much more of anything, ever for the price I paid. I'm really kind of taken aback with what I ended up getting for my money and I wouldn't hesitate to order another twenty just like it if I needed them.

This has been updated to reflect the company's response to my review: I have to say, Vivosun's customer service is excellent! They reached out to me within a day after I posted my reviews. After asking for some additional pictures, they offered me a a partial (over half) refund on the tent itself, and they offered to send me additional ducting to make the ventilation kit I had ordered more functional. The tent was very easy to set up by myself out of the box with the provided instructions. And while during assembly I had some doubts about its sturdiness, once assembled it has been very sturdy. I do have a couple design complaints, and while not as extreme as some other customers, I have some product quality issues that it would be nice if Vivosun customer service addressed and corrected in future production. In terms of design, Vivosun, please, ditch the windows with the velcro covers. The windows themselves aren't very useful (especially the one near the floor??), and the velcro on covers are not big enough to provide good light seals, they leak light around the edges. I'm going to end up having to cover those spots with mylar inside. Just make solid walls. In terms of quality...well... I had some similar complaints as others. Right out of the box and set up, there were pinhole leaks scattered around the tent walls. Probably a couple dozen. Quality control to ensure all outgoing materials don't have these shouldn't be a big deal. I'm going to have to do a lot of work with small bits of mylar tape to patch all these. Now onto the zipper...Out of the box, the zipper seemed shot. There were a bunch of places where though zipped the teeth on the two sides had separated, others where the teeth seemed bound up/zipped together improperly (skipping teeth, etc.). Thankfully, with some bow string wax and a lot of patience I was able to rehab it. But its not something I should've had to do with a brand new item. I figured that was the end of the zipper problems, until I had my vent system set up and a negative pressure environment going. With the outer walls sucked in slightly from the pressure, there were clearly light leaks about 2-3 in. long along the edges of the zipper in about 4 places. I thought it was from the stitching being pulled on by the pressure, but on closer inspection it wasn't the sort of pinhole leaks you'd get from that. Rather, it almost looked like the fabric surrounding and reinforcing the zipper strip itself was too thin or not properly overlapped and light was leaking through only partially opaque areas. Again, I had to spend a lot of time with mylar tape reparing this. Vivosun, please, fix these consistent design and quality control issues for future customers at the very least, even if you won't contact me to correct them.
