And when you try to return it, the return tab will ask you to call Amazon. The Amazon Service people will listen to you politely but they will keep shifting you from one team to another till you are tired and don’t want to pursue it any further. Nice for sleeping, low level delivers enough coolness,I have mine close by half way down the bed directed at me as my hubby is always freezing* as we also have a ceiling fan. Sturdy,good for price. Mine does not have remote. No annoying lights on console. It only extends 38inches height but that doesn’t matter for me. On higher levels it pushes around cool air in room during day if needed. Not horribly big and not bad looking in the room itself.

This fan is amazing, I have 3 of them. I have had 1 for 5 plus years now, and 1 of them for 4 years plus. I just purchased a new one a couple of months ago. I use them 8 hours a day. I never had a problem with any of them. They are a little pricy, but they are well worth it. I used to buy the $30.00 ones and they would last a summer or two. You get what you pay for when you buy one of these fans. I need the sound of a fan to sleep so it was a no brainer. My only negative thing that I could say is that they are loud and powerful if on full blast. If you put them on lower levels you will be fine.
