This is a beautiful pallette with 28 wells to hold your paints in. Very light weight and totally easy to clean. Great value for money as you get 2 of them. I have put watercolour in them and once they dried it is easy to carry them around. They are little on flimsy side. Don't close air tight and have little gaps so if your paint is wet then you will have to wait until i lt dries before closing it else the paint and water will easily leak out. There is lot of space to colour mix. I washed it with the green side of washing sponge gently and now the paints don't bead up. So great for watercolour mixing. Won't need a separate mixing bowl. Storing is easy on its flat side. I have not yet stored it vertically so can not comment. I would say if you are looking for budget paint holder pallette that you don't mind not closing air tight than this is a great option as it holds 28 colours and you get 2 pallettes. It has easy thumb hold also a convenient option for those who stand and paint.

A functional paint palette that keeps my acrylic paints from drying out. I tested this with a few small splodges of thick paint from the tube and they have remained somewhat moist for up to 2 weeks, which is just what I need. I also mixed up some paint with water and left it in the central well of the paint palette, but this only lasted a few days before drying out. There is a good amount of space in the palette overall and it also has a removable flat palette which allows for even more paint use. The lid closes well enough, it doesn't feel completely secure but it seems to have done the job so far. I have only used my palette at my art table and have always stored it flat, so no leaking issues. Since my paints are staying wet for longer and I can get more use from them each time I return to painting, it has really helped me save on paint! Also the little wells help me stay a bit more organised with my colours. I have found cleaning the wells a little tricky, but a bit of water and quick rub with a cloth does the trick. If you are looking for something at a reasonable price which keeps your paints from drying out, I would definitely recommend this palette.

The sole purpose for buying this palette, was to keep my tube paint from drying out between sessions. I have a couple of palettes already, so wasn't specifically looking for another - but, I must say that having used the large internal mixing areas, plus the removable large tray, I now don't use my other palettes - it takes up far less room and accommodates my needs perfectly! The storage of paint is the most impressive part, as I left it inside the palette for over a week and it was still fresh and ready to paint with. A tip I picked up, was to place a wet, but wrung out thin foam pad inside the box - which I expect will have helped with the storage. Cleaning is also easy, as the corners of each paint well are rounded, as are the corners of the mixing areas. I cannot comment on how this would travel (obviously being tipped on its side etc.), but the seal around the lid is certainly airtight. I do think though, that unless you use watercolour pans, it's always going to be difficult travelling with tube paint already squeezed into the palette. The lid clasp has a satisfying 'click' and feels secure when shut. Overall, very satisfied with this product!

A good size be palette for mixing and storing paint but it does stick so difficult open again

I bought this as a present for a friend and she is delighted with it. There are sufficient wells to hold her watercolour paints, good room for mixing colours and also a brush or two. It cleans up well too. The added bonus is that it hasn't leaked into her satchel when she has carried it home still wet from painting.

It has two large surfaces to mix colours which is always handy because I always run out of space. I've used tube watercolours in my pans. I have made a swatch colour chart to identify the colours and that fits nicely in-between the two mixing pallets. It wipes clean easily too. For the price, I think it's brilliant. I use it for my art classes because it's very transportable
