The first time I used this soap and the matching lotion on my baby during/after a bath, he slept for 5 hours straight and I had to wake him up for a feeding. He was so knocked out that I was panicking trying to rouse him from sleep, pinching his cheeks, calling his name, patting his butt to wake him up. It took me half an hour to get him fully awake enough to take a bottle. Now I only use this at night when I want him to get a good stretch of sleep, and every time, he has slept for hours after his bath! After his last bath I gave him with these products, at 10pm, he slept the whole night through until 6:30am at 5 weeks old! The lavender smell is lovely but fades quickly so it doesn’t irritate his senses (sometimes when I use the soap he will sneeze in the bath, a little of the soap goes a long way) and the lotion leaves him feeling so soft and smelling great. The soap or the lotion have never irritated his skin, which I worried about as he’s still a newborn. I feel safe using this product on his sensitive skin and it’s a helpful part of his bedtime routine to calm him down.
