The Newsound DL130 is a superb Audio Amplifier. I took delivery of this Amp a week ago and am very impressed with the quality of its sound, its build and appearance. As a retired electronics and testing engineer, Ive designed tested and built many audio amps in the past, claiming extemely low harmonic distortion figures. But non sound as good as this Amp where it counts; i.e. - subjected to long term listening tests with a variety of music and the human voice. The DL130 reproduces all the dynamics and transients from my Maranz 74CD player with a realism and smoothness that my other Amps have failed to do. It effortless drives my Monitor Audio free standing speakers with no perciveable distortion even at very high power levels. It looks very nice quality but the left hand rear valve 6L6G was damaged that probably happened during transit. I do not know how to remove the broken valve or where to get a replacement.

It seems unique but also pricey and the descriptions and reviews all seem to be written in bad english, beware

Un oggetto delizioso dal primo all'ultimo particolare. D'inverno puo' essere anche usato per aiutare a scaldare la casa anche se la temperatura delle valvole non eccede mai. Il suono e' delizioso e ricco anche in cuffia la sua spiccata qualita' si fa' sentire ....la potenza c'e ed anche in piu' di quella che serve notate che io con grandi casse non arrivo a superare il 4 4.5.Il suo DAc interno e' di ottima qualita' e puo' facilmente stare a pari o superare DAc blasonati da 500 e piu euro ed io li ho quindi lo so. Un oggetto sicuRAMENTE DA ACQUISTARE SE VOLETE UN SUONO CALDO E PURO. LE valvole non sono ancora rodate.

Per se ist es unvernünftig einen Röhrenverstärker zu kaufen. Moderne Transistorverstärker klingen besser und verbrauchen weniger Strom. Aber der I30BT von Dare sieht, nach meinem Empfinden, gut aus und klingt sehr gut. Geliefert wurde er aus China innerhalb sieben Tagen. Mehr als tadellos verpackt und dementsprechend ohne jede Macke angekommen. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei. Die Anleitung ist leider etwas kurz geraten, hat mir aber genügt (nur englisch). Der Service von NewSong war vorbildlich. Ich wurde ständig auf dem Laufenden gehalten und Fragen innerhalb ein bis zwei Stunden beantwortet. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Das Teil ist ja auch nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen, aber bislang seinen Preis wert.

Sound is good. Packing is excellent. Two things are missing are: full details of the amplifier and/or schematic was provided that will be easier to understand the product and if parts needs to replace. One more thing the craftsmanship is excellent except the protective cover cut out for the screw is OFF 1/8”. May I suggest IF made full cover and the secure screws locate the side of outside that would be more practical.
