Nicely made item. Arrived on time and in great condition. The only issue is, the props were way too big for a newborn! My baby is currently 5 weeks old and it's still too big for him. He weighed 8 1/2 pounds at birth, so he's not a small baby haha. I love it, but I'll have to wait until he grows into it for photos :(

I had to make adjustments to the item and remove the rim of the hat as I was using it as part of a display. Then I needed to use some glue in various places to keep the seems from coming undone on the hat and the overalls. The overall straps were two completely different lengths and off by about 4" so I had to roll the fabric to double it and secure the button through the doubled up material. If I had time to get something else I would have. This will definitely be a one time use item and hopefully it doesn't come completely apart before then.

I was really worried this wouldn't fit my chunky monkey. He is about 18 lbs! But it did!! He is 4 months old. It did tend to slide off the shoulder a bit but that could be where he moved so much.

I was debating whether or not to get my baby this for Halloween since he’s a little chubby and long! It was perfect! I bought him a mustache pacifier to go along with him costume hehe

Add one of the Mario characters with this outfit for pictures and you have your own Mario photo shoot. I bought one of the stars from the game as well as a Toad stuffed character to use for our son's newborn pictures. I can't wait to see how they all turn out. This outfit fits a little larger than the average newborn--it all depends on who does the crocheting because some outfits can run small and some big.
