Rapid Review of Radiology (Medical Rapid Review Series): 9781840761207: Medicine & Health Science Books @ desertcart.com Review: Well done! - I was looking for another general case book and test prep book to supplement Top 3. I happened to see this one and bought the kindle edition. I like the price, the images are decent quality (and so often on exams the pictures are not great resolution anyway), and the case mix is about right--not too hard not too easy. I like that the cases are presented as unknowns, followed by a solid succinct description of the findings (as if a report), and then a diagnosis and the differential. At the end there is a discussion of the diagnoses and some helpful tips. Well worth the money! Review: Very Good book for the FRCR IIB - I liked most of the different cases but too much talking in discussion after every case I know a lot of ppl will like that but for me i liked the differential diagnoses and practical tips most.

This book is probably the best of the currently available, FRCR2B revision books. Excellent tips, and contains some excellent cases. The image quality is superb, and I can recommend the viva course that the Authors run too! I am in no way affiliated, just grateful, certainly helped me!

Genuinely awful image quality. The whole point in the book is case/image review for the FRCR 2B and as the images are so terrible, it's not possible. The described abnormalities are barely or not visible meaning the book is totally useless and a complete waste of money. A shame as good layout and case discussions but without good quality images, there is no point.

Content is wonderful. The Kindle picture quality is laughably bad. Especially for a radiology textbook. After downloading the book I couldn't believe how bad the images were. Zooming into images may well as not be a function as the picture quality is so bad. Often you rely on the text description of the case to be guided. If you're looking for a book to see examples of pathology, this is not it. If you're looking for a great overview of cases for the exam, it fits the bill. I can only assume the images will be improved for later editions.
