More Advanced. - More advanced than other stories in this series as it follows the journey of a boy who follows instructions to build a kite and succeeds. Review: Great Arabic reader series, cute story ("My Kite") - (Wife): Cute story about a boy making and flying a kite ("My Kite"). Thin paperback reader. (We have some in pink, one in red, two in yellow, and (I think) two in blue. The blue readers are among the hardest in this graded reader series (until the green band becomes available -- those will go beyond the blue ones). Based out of UK. No English. Appears to be MSA. Short vowels marked. Wonderfully clear, large-ish print (paperback version). Reader color bands: Pink / Purple: Easiest. Repeated sentence patterns. Pink, Purple and Red are listed as "A" (Alif) or "B" (Baa') -- parts 1 and 2 of each band. Red: Next easiest -- Slightly more complex sentence patterns. Repetition with new terms and repeated sentences. Yellow: More complex. A bit beyond a basic / repetitive reader. Blue: More complex than yellow. Green: Publisher is adding this as a more complex reader level.

Very nice colorful and funny story

Great early reader. Blue seems to be the most advanced of the series, very helpful for building vocabulary in the context of beautiful pictures. Yellow is next level down, then red, with pink being the easiest.

Nice book, well written in Classical Arabic, very good way to transition from learning to actually using a language. Might be also good for children. The paper is rather thin, but if you handle it with care it will not matter much.
