UV Protection Folding Umbrella

I bought this UV protection umbrella for my mother, who has very sensitive skin and needs to avoid too much sun exposure. It turned out to be the perfect gift. The umbrella is compact and lightweight, making it easy for her to carry in her purse, yet it’s surprisingly sturdy against wind and everyday use. The UV protection lining really makes a difference—you can feel the temperature drop underneath it. The design is elegant and practical, and it opens and closes smoothly. My mother loves using it not just on sunny days but also when it’s lightly raining. It’s held up well so far and looks like it will last for a long time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for both style and solid sun protection in a small package.

Sturdy and Pretty. I love this umbrella. I mostly use it for sun. I am sure it works in the rain too.

Very functional. Expands and collapses well. It seems to reflect the sun away effectively and definitely keeps rain off of me. And the lavender on the underside is pretty! I only used the storage bag *maybe* once. Normally I tuck the collapsed umbrella into the water bottle pocket in my work bag. My only sadness is that the silver on the outside is rubbing off where the joints/hinges inside fold. But considering how much use I've gotten out of it--including how many times I've folded and unfolded it--the fact that the umbrella doesn't have any holes is remarkable! Would purchase again if needed.

I live in Florida and the sun is brutal here, especially when going to the parks. My black umbrella I was using to block the sun just wasn’t cutting it anymore. This was a perfect option. The silver top wasn’t absorbing the heat and was helping me stay out of the direct sunlight when waiting in those long lines. The description mentioned windproof, but it isn’t quite that strong for high wind gusts. I nearly lost it a few times when the wind picked up. Would have been better with a vent hole on top for the wind to pass through. That’s the only reason it got a 4-star from me. A great item non the less. The only thing I cation you about is that it had rained and the umbrella got wet. I didn’t think to dry it before closing it and left it closed. So now there are rust stains on the light colored lining material that won’t come out.

I’ve had this umbrella for about a week. I’ll update the review if necessary, but I must say as someone who has albinism damn I’m impressed. Since I’m really sensitive to the sun this definitely does the job when it comes to keeping me cool, while protecting my skin from the harsh UV rays. Had not gotten sunburn which I’m pretty impressed, as I heard that UV rated umbrellas only provide a level of protection. Did extensive research and the size is what should be the standard which is 46 inches. Got it in black with outside being silver, by far very portable and durable. Easy to get rid of the smell that people have been complaining about, just spray lightly with a strong unisex perfume/cologne. Used Lattafa to get rid of that smell. Since then the smell has gone away. Overall, I’m very impressed better than Coolibar umbrella as they don’t have size 46. If this thing keeps holding I will definitely buy two more of these.

Excellent sun protection . l used it in Japan and it was 20% cooler under it .

I have used this a total of one time prior to today. Now the umbrella won’t stay open. It has no physical lock mechanism to keep it open. Very poorly designed and only good for apparently one use before it no longer works properly. Update: there is an interesting issue with this umbrella. If you don open it 100% when you hit the button, it doesn’t stay open. You have to close it and then try opening it again.

Great price for this sun protection umbrella, there are similar ones on the market but more expensive. This works well and gives the protection needed to protect from UV rays.

This parasol/umbrella is my essential travel companion as I go about my life in Spain. I have Cutaneous Lupus which means I have photosensitivity and I can now shade my head, face and neck safely (aswell as wearing sunblock) without having to wear hats which make my head too hot! The reflective outer prevents the sun's rays from coming through which gives me more confidence to go out and about. Really pleased with this purchase!

Took this to Saudia in June 50+ Celsius temperatures was fantastic with helping with sun protection , ease of use with opening and closing, looks really nice and built sturdily
