Update 1 year after using.
Installation went smoothly. Installed on high rise toilet. In addition the toilet seat with lid fitted well with the handicap railings for lift support. Must use the Teflon tape on both sides of the valve connection. So it will not leak. Everything needed Teflon tape , batteries), ect. to install came with the purchase. Nice big remote for elderly persons. Easy for them to understand and operate. Works great and cleans well. 1/1/2025 Update. lol TMI ? Helps improve hemoroids. 12/8/25 Update. The older, handicap persons using this toilet seat Love it. It is so easy to clean. The material holds up well and it looks brand new yet. I recommend this toilet seat for handicap persons. It has been such a blessing to have. Have purchased another for backup to replace it when it wears out. One minor issue. The seat kept on moving to the side. Didn’t affect the function of the seat. Just looked crooked. The seat gets put through a lot of pressure and movement when handicap users get up. A-lot more wear and tear than a healthy person user. Tightening didn’t help. Easy fix. Took the mounting plate off. Cleaned with rubbing alcohol and mounted double sided 3m auto trim tape. Fastened it back on the toilet and it works great. If you try this make sure you mark where the mounting plate goes before taking off. So the position of the seat is where it belongs when it is reattached. This is a great toilet seat. The remote works great too. A lot easier for handicap with hand issues. We have the remote mounted to the wall so that it can be used easily without handling it. Thank you to the manufacturers of this seat. Great job

Great 1st Bidet
Got this Bidet because it had most of the features Hubby & I wanted for a low/midrange price. I must say the negative reviews almost stopped us from ordering this one but we’re totally glad we decided to get it! The installation was super easy and quick. I installed it myself as a surprise for when Hubby got home from work. He is well traveled across the world and has lots of bidet experiences (this is my first so I have nothing to compare it to) and he loves it! That says a lot. For me I absolutely love the warm seat and warm water :) It has a bunch of options for pulsing, massaging, water pressure and temp, position of nozzle, and even a kids mode. The entire seat stays warm (not one sided like some reviewers say they experienced), warm water does sometimes taper off a bit during the cycle but not a big deal, the deodorizer works great surprisingly and the LED does shut off. Most of the complaints in the negative reviews were not my experience at all and come from people not reading the manual. It is more customizable than the quick start guide. Do yourself a favor and pull up the actual full manual on the BidetMate website. You’ll thank me later. The only complaint I have is the fan doesn’t really dry you off at all, it just feels good LoL. All in all I give 5 stars. This bidet fully met my expectations for the price. Will update at a later time to report longevity of product as I just got it yesterday :)

Luxurious Bidet
This has been installed for 8 months now. I love it. It is such a great addition to the bathroom. It is very sturdy plastic material. It's simple to install if you have a little plumbing knowledge. The water pressure is very good. Easy to clean. Just have to remember , no sitting on the lid. It fit very well on our oblong comfort height American Standard.

Worked Fantastically until the seat Broke, now having to completely buy an entire new system.
Been a long time BidetMate user, love the device, when it works. Recently we have the seat itself, not the lid, crack, and then the crack eventually lead to a complete break. I coud not find a replacement seat option so I am going to be left with the option to just purchase another entire BidetMate 2000 system with the hopes that this one's seat lasts longer than maybe 2 years. We do love the Bidet itself.... it's just that cracked seat and other being able to replace it.

Quality product with options for all.
This is my first experience with a bidet toilet seat but wow, I was amazed at the technology built in to it. For starters, the heated seat works amazing, having the adjustable control for its temperature is a nice option to have because it can get quite warm. The power wash mixed with the massage and pulse modes ensure that you are well cleaned and the electronically controlled moveable spray nozzle allows you to focus it where you need it most. The blow dryer definitely warms the air well and pushes a nice breeze, still have a towel present to dry yourself because it will not get all the water off in one cycle. I also like the slow close toilet seat to prevent having to hold the toilet seat to close it without banging down, this is especially nice with little kids that like to throw a seat down to run off to go play again. I love the seat itself, the hardware was of good quality to mount the seat, the plumbing parts I did have problems with however. The three way fitting which is supplied would not seal where it mounts to the toilet, I tried a variety of seals but it was leaking at the plastic nut on the fitting. I had to replace the fitting with a new one from the hardware store and everything worked great. Overall a very nice, well constructed seat, with tons of options that I am very pleased with. Definitely recommend this product.

She squealed the first time
My "smart toilet" arrived intact and was boxed well. While I was not there for the arrival my daughter was and was questioning why we were getting a "smart toilet". Anyways, like most people we don't have an electrical outlet behind the toilet which had me holding back on purchasing one of these notwithstanding I didn't like the thought of cold water pulsating on my bits. Enter this gadget. Installation was easy and relatively straightforward however I did have to replace the supply hose from the shutoff as the one that I did have on there wasn't compatible with this new seat. After all the connections were made the leak test was successful. In my case I do have an electrical outlet on the opposite wall that I can plumb later with a GFCI plug. So for now I just ran an extension cord to a nearby outlet (15a rated cord). After installation I tested it out myself and was pleasantly surprised with its operation. I really like the "bidet" and "Power Wash" function especially since the water was WARM. Being frank, depending on the consistency of your "deposit" will determine which function to use. The "Massage" function would be better described as a linear movement of the head back and forth to clean more area without you moving. With that said a mid session cleaning works well, then a final cleaning when you are done, and a drying function to wrap it up. Having used it now for almost 10 days I can say my cleaning routines have gotten much better as I am better acquainted with where to position myself. Early on I couldn't bring myself to not check with some toilet paper and rightly so. Now I would say 90% of my sessions are completely clean on the toilet paper but I still will continue to check going forward. There are various power saving functions that cycle the heated seat on/off depending on either timeframe or a timer once you are off the seat. I will probably hook up a killawatt meter to see how much it is actually using. Overall I am quite happy with the unit. As long as you can get or have a power outlet this gadget will be a nice addition to the throne. My toilet is an elongated ADA compliant (which means its a little higher for tall people) and this seat raised the height just a little more. Definitely comfortable to sit on and I didn't have dead leg while getting business done. It takes a little bit to get used to and where to sit for the best cleaning but at this point in ownership from a male perspective its a keeper. *****Side note. If you have a wife/girlfriend just wait for the squeal the first time they use it. The look on their face will be priceless so don't give any hints before you tell her to use the power wash function.

IF IT DOESN'T WORK WITH 6 BEEPS AND RUNNING WATER/NO SPRAY
IF YOU GET 6 BEEPS... it isn't a circuit board failure as Google and ChatGPT say. It isn't documented in the User Manual. It isn't documented anywhere that I can find... 6 beeps, running water but no spray. The cleaning wand does activate after pressing wash for 3 seconds to extend and clean but the bidet doesn't work... The mounting clips are a pressure sensitive safety valve. It is undocumented and non-obvious but BEEP beep BEEP beep BEEP beep means push the seat back towards the tank like way harder. You'll hear the water flow change. Then the little heating tank will fill. How many hundreds of returns must this bidet have had? I returned it twice. Dear manufacturer, DOCUMENT YOUR ERROR CODES.

Great bidet with useful features.
**UPDATE** I thought I'd update my review after using this bidet for over 2 years. It is still working great! No issues or failures as of yet. My concerns about the durability of this bidet has been thoroughly settled. I always wanted to own a bidet but the cost kept me from taking the plunge into buying one. Toilet paper is getting expensive now however, and a few years ago manufacturers changed things so that the paper breaks down more easily to prevent Municiple sewer clogs. This has the adverse effect of making the toilet paper less durable, and it always leaves behind bits and pieces of paper that stick to you after use. Gross. A bidet I figured would solve my problems with TP and help save our sewers by reducing physical waste. After receiving the BidetMate 2000, I was a little confused about how to install it. The instructions were so simple (literally just a card), I figured they must of forgotten a vital part of the setup. Turns out I was over-thinking things and all I needed to do was install a part between my toilet and water intake hose. That info could have been better explained, but maybe I'm just an idiot. After I got past that part, installing the rest of the bidet was way easier than I thought it would be. Took maybe 15 minutes and an average person can figure it out. After everything was all setup, and I took the bidet for a test run, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to adapt to having a stream of water shot at my butt. I imagined a cold blast from a power washer, and that it would take me weeks to adjust, but the stream of water is gentle, and the warming temp is instant; Not a second of cold water came out of the nozzle! The BidetMate 2000 has a few simple adjustments that can be made to help the water stream "lock-in target" and provide a comfortable temperature and power level. The controls are pretty intuitive, so you'll likely never have to actually read the instructions. Some nice amenities that the bidet seat provides is a heated seat that is always on (no need to wait for it to warm up), a few settings to provide a massage (the stream moves back and forth against your bottom) and a pulse that alternates water stream strength. These two options can actually be combined, which I didn't see mentioned in the manual. The air dryer feature is nice, but it won't get you dry unless you dab away the excess water after the cleansing cycle, so don't throw out that toilet paper dispenser just yet. You'll want something to finish with, but you'll only be using 2 or 3 squares of toilet paper, which is a huge improvement in cost savings and waste reduction. The seat includes a carbon honeycomb filter, but just like any product that uses the "magic" of carbon filters to reduce odors, it doesn't actually do anything. The only time a carbon filter is useful is for water purification or forced air filtration. This addition is a waste of space and money in my opinion. OK, time to talk frankly now, so warning if you are sensitive to poop talk, and keep your pearls in clutching distance. Finding the proper nozzle adjustment and seating position to most effectively wash away all fecal matter takes a bit of time. You'll know you've found it when you have your first, "clench" moment. At that point you just need to train yourself to relax so that the water can do its thing. The pulse and massage features can help stimulate the anus to relax to allow full release of waste. Once you get these things figured out, you'll leave the bathroom cleaner than toilet paper could ever get you! I have read that the "power wash" mode is essentially a water enema, but I'm not sure how effective it serves that purpose. Maybe I just haven't gotten to the point where I can relax quite that much. For ladies there is a genital wash mode, which essentially provides a multi-stream of water that is softer than a single stream. I can definitely see the advantage of using a bidet for people that suffer from conditions like hemorrhoids or anal fissures. Although I cannot comment from experience, I have to imagine a gentle stream of water is superior to rubbing a dry piece of paper across your anus, and the fact that it leaves nothing behind to hold bacteria has got to be a win for those suffering from bleeding injuries that are easily irritated or infected. It is also a superior experience if you've eaten too much hot food, like Thai extra spicey noodles, or are suffering from irritation caused by prolonged diarrhea. I did have concerns about the durability of this bidet, after all it has a lot of parts that can fail, and something like this is used daily, and multiple times a day with a family. I have been using the BidetMate for about 5 months now, and I have to say that I am impressed that it still works like new and as intended! My only gripe would be that sometimes the temperature of the water stream is not always 100% consistent, especially at higher temps. It often "drops" to a cooler temp, and then slowly rises back up. Not really a big deal though, as the water is never cold. The only improvements I could see that would make this bidet top tier would be to add a cover that is durable enough to sit upon. The current cover just covers the seat, probably to help keep it warm. It is thin plastic, and I could see even a child breaking it. The nightlight feature is always on, and it is kinda' neat, but mostly useless. If it was a disinfecting UV light instead, it would greatly improve functionality. If you've been on the fence about buying a bidet, now is a great time to make the purchase. For a first time buyer, the BidetMate 2000 is an excellent choice!
