Cowdog Chews Retriever roll 9-10 inch All Natural Rawhide Product (80 Pack)

I've tried several types of rawhide chews for my dogs and these are the thickest, longest lasting chews I've found, and best price per chew anywhere. Thank you for selling them in bulk too!

Very Durable, I have a 160 Lb mastiff who usually gets through these rolls in an afternoon. These however were rolled very tight with so many layers as many others are rolled loosely to look bigger and more puffed up. I’m very pleased with the results and price point.

We have a young shepherd/husky and these chew bones give him hours of chewing fun. They are a good deal too!

This is the only brand of rawhide I have found that is ONE PIECE in a single roll. I docked one star for the image that draws you in and makes you believe it is a dense, thick roll, but every order I have made is consistent with what you see in the pictures from everyone here and that's just how it is unfortunately--each owner will have to decide for themselves if this is right for their dog. The thickness and density of individual rolls vary which is to be expected, but they are ALL one-piece rolls as pictured. I have given these to my toy dogs and my Rottweilers with great success: they all chew off small pieces at various rates as they soften it and (knock on wood!) I have had absolutely zero issues with digestive upset out of either end, choking or GI blockages over the years they have been chewing these. Intake is monitored closely and a roll is removed/discarded when it is about 3-4". If they are chewing more voraciously, it means that I go through them a little quicker so there is some waste, but that is the price for safe, content dogs who are fulfilled with healthy chewing activity and I pay it gladly. I am grateful for the one-piece roll design as my young Rottweiler discovered that he could unroll a piece into a huge chip "sheet" and was so proud of himself--imagine how many small/sharp pieces he would have created (and possibly eaten) with a roll made of multiple small bits held together with a few big wraps. Overall, this is my favorite brand of rawhide and despite experimenting with different rolls from various storefronts both online and brick-and-mortar, I always return to these for their simplicity and safety. I used to be vehemently against rawhide chews, but after seeing too many fractured teeth from extremely dense manufactured plastic chews that needed extraction (all painful slab fractures with pulp exposure in the toy dogs, one with abscess formation), I swallowed my pride and decided for myself and my dogs that rawhide wasn't the end of the world if they could demonstrate good chewing etiquette/technique. These are well worth the expense and I haven't looked back.

Unlike most chews that are gone in minutes, this roll actually lasts. It keeps my dog engaged, satisfied, and happily chewing without splintering or falling apart right away. You can tell it’s made with quality in mind, and it holds up extremely well even for large, strong breeds. It’s also great for keeping him busy and helping with natural chewing instincts, which is a big win in our house. No mess, no strong odor, just a durable, long-lasting chew that my dog gets excited about every time. If you have a large or aggressive chewer and are tired of wasting money on chews that don’t last, this one is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend! 🐶💪

UPDATE dtd July 22, 2024 Prince got a new batch of these chews in today and boy was he excited! He wasn't out, but was chewing on the last bit of the last one. We love these chew sticks. Let me describe the differences in these chews & what we used to get from Walmart bc that was all that was available, but no complaints & no problems either. Walmart Labrador Chews, this is what Prince got all the time, never to run out. He loved them & could get thru one chew from anywhere between 1-3 days depending mostly on how often i needed to pick them up if i had an errand or whatever when i could not supervise him. But he could rip those things apart. Prince was not so fast to tear these chews up. Seems he was a little bewildered at first like what's wrong with these chew sticks. The difference is these chews sticks are really wrapped tight like a roll. They do not get all nasty looking & they don't shred like the others. He loves them & has gotten the hang of it. He'll chew a bit, set it down, take a nap, chew some more if he wants to. He takes his time & enjoys them & the process.. I guess bc he knows that these chews are so much better & they take a bit more work to tear them up, or many other reasons that he has not told me about. It sometimes feels odd to me, or i am just odd, bc i talk to him so much. He is the only dog now & he is truly the Prince, & so he gets most all of the attention, i do have cats too, but sometimes i just wish he would start talking to me. lol He loves to play with me when he has a chew stick. He will act all aggressive, but it's all for show & he likes for me to pull on that chew stick like a tug war or that i might get his chew stick. And he likes for me to throw his stick around nearby so he can bounce at it like a rabbit annd he does retrieve. All my dogs were taught to retrieve as basic training. It is amazing how entertaining our pets are , for us & for themselves. He's a real character, and I love him. He loves me too. FIRST POST dtd May 31, 2024 BEFORE Prince had finished his first chew: Prince my little dog gets this size all the time. This was the first time i have purchased from Amazon tho. I watched a video & the guy gave such a convincing presentation. He described the product very nicely & even had his dogs playing in the video too. I always check the ingredients on anything my dog eats & these ingredients are top notch. Enriching and enhanced to improve quality & taste. As i said this is the perfect size too & has a nice tone, color. Prince has not had any stomach problems, no digestion problems, no diarrhea. And he gets a wide variety of treats. We both love peanut butter & on apples, he likes oranges too. Carrots. Healthy stuff. Foods that are good for dogs. It is not all day long, but is enough to have spoiled him just as rotten as all my pets have always been. That is the way it is supposed to be. We are here for them. They are here for us. Prince is a rescue too. He found me as all the others have. A life of many heartaches, but a life of great love that never ends.
