Greenwood Essential Pure Wormwood Essential Oil (Artemisia Absinthium) Steam Distilled Natural Therapeutic Grade 15ml (0.50 oz)

I got this essential oil mostly as a scent more than for it's rather well-known benefits. It comes in a cardboard box that feels a little bit flimsy (it could just be that money was slightly scrunched up) and it is a screw-top bottle with a separate dropper

Upon opening the nicely decorated sticky tape sealed card box, I found the 15ml screw top glass bottle of wormwood pure essential oil. Once you unscrew the plastic lid from the glass bottle it is further sealed via a tight fitted plastic stopper which is replaced by a drip feeder for dispensing the oil one drop at a time, avoiding any waste and used as a tool for measuring amount used. The scent of wormwood is one that I actually associated with some head lice treatments that you can get from the chemist. It has a strong masculine fragrance with hints of wood. Have been using in oil burner for room fragrance and it has a good longevity.

Sharp and penetrative oil.

This high grade oil is definitely worth the money. I used this for aromatherapy and in my own mixed personal carrier oil. Even used a few drops in the bath after a hards days work. Essential oils are highly concentrated. In order to be used safely and correctly, they need be diluted (eg..Water or a skin care oil) because essential oils can irritate your skin or cause an allergic reaction. I'm very pleased with the outcome, the oil has a pleasant and distinctively strong carming aroma.

as per others, like Oakmoss, these essential oils are great I have taken two or three drops of this and mixed with grapefruit, dispensed in a room that is 6m by 8m approximately. These oils by Greenwood essentials smell great and will last a while

Slightly confusing, the picture is of ylang-ylang oil but the description was pure wormwood essential oil. Upon receiving this wormwood oil, I found thee box was covered in cello tape and once opened, I noticed that the lid of the bottle was a bit dirty and discoloured. The bottle comes with a separate plastic pourer lid that can be placed in the opening of the bottle to assist in pouring correct measures. The oil smells great. Wormwood is meant to have a lot of beneficial health properties, being antiseptic, anti fungal and was used in traditional Chinese medicine for a fever. The quality of the oil appears very good. It produces a gorgeous scent when heated in my oil burner. I love essential oils for creating a relaxing atmosphere at home. The oil is very nice but this is not a cheap oil, measuring at 15ml so could do with the packaging being up to par.

I was asked to test and review this brand of essential oils and their Our Wormwood essential oil in particular. We use essential oils in oil burners around the house, and I feel that this scent will work well in most rooms, but then we like this type of sweet, woodsy and sharp scent. The 15ml bottle of essential oil comes in a pretty cardboard box so would make an ideal gift for someone who uses essential oils, and a separate dropper attachment which you fit to the bottled (very useful for measuring out accurately). The essential oil smells as I expected -- a warm, sweet, sharp and woodsy scent -- and seems to be the genuine article of a high quality essential oil, and so I am really pleased with this product. I would be happy to recommend, and will probably be purchasing other oils from this brand when this bottle is finished.

This company is selling several essential oils on this open market, to the general public, which would not even be used by properly trained aromatherapists because of their chemistry. There ARE medicinal uses - but these need to be carefully and cautiously assessed by qualified medical herbalists who have also had training in any conflicts with any prescribed pharmaceutical medicines Selling a product like this, with blanket dilution instructions which apply to SAFE essential oils is utterly irresponsible.. A responsible company would be limiting the oils available on open market to those without the possibility to cause harm No, I have not purchased this oil. I have no desire to aid the profits of a company selling dangerous goods
