Amazing Stuff. With just one mug my UTI symptoms were much improved. Yes, it's not exactly the nicest tasting tea in the world - dirt meets tannins and have a party with bitter in your mouth. I am not drinking it for the taste however - I'm drinking it for the results, and for the results I get I can handle a few mugs of this each day for a few days. I had used Uva Ursi years ago, and had good results, but back then I could only get the whole leaves that I had to self grind in a mortar and pestle - a task that is much more difficult than you would think - the tough, thick leaves just wouldn't break down worth a darn. I usually ended up with largish chunks in my mug. For years I was unable to find the herb in a pure form, then I found this on Amazon. The leaves in this tea are nicely ground to a fairly fine size and are in a bag, making it much more convenient to make a mug when needed. I am so happy I found this herb again!

This and other Mullein tea brands have been good for my wife's lungs. This brand she has told me tastes better than the other two brands she has purchased.

I drink this tea to prevent acid reflux and settle my stomach. It does seem to help and might lower my sugar cravings as well because it is sweet. Not everybody might like the flavor but I think it’s OK. I like this tea because it isn’t spicy. There is an Egyptian spicy licorice tea out there that I haven’t tried yet. I’m disappointed that a third, cheaper kind I used to buy isn’t available in stores anymore (including Whole Foods). At least it’s organic. Please stay on the market.

An older Bosnian neighbor told me about this tea! (I'm not sure HOW we got to talking about Urinary Tract Infections in the first place!!!) I tried it and it was a MIRACLE! I used to get UTIs ALL THE TIME when I was younger - so bad I had to go to the Emergency room at least twice. They would always prescribe me those brown pills that make your pee SUPER ORANGE and antibiotics. Well those brown pills stopped working and the UTI came back again and again Then I tried this tea! I had relief within 30 minutes! And it makes the urge to pee go away as well. It REALLY kicks in even more when you pee your first pee after it's gone through your system (But the pain and urgy-pee will reside within 30 mins!). Just drink 3 small (8oz) cups per day! (I can get away with 1 or 2 usually and don't even need to do it a 2nd day! But some people will need to!) WARNING - you will not love the taste.. It's bitter and leaves your mouth feeling a bit dry. Just eat some candy or brush your teeth after and it'll be fine! Just think of it as coming from Earth/It's a wonderful plant. That might help! Also - steep it for AT LEAST 5 mins! No less! (You'll see the instructions, but I can get away with 5 minutes - its less potent, but potent enough for me. First time you may want to steep a bit longer - after that you can get away with 5 mins.) I love buying different kinds of tea and experimenting to find the kind I like most. I was drawn in by the name, since I had never even heard of licorice root tea before. Once the tea arrived I made myself a cup, following the instructions closely. I was told to steep 8oz for 15 minutes, which seemed long to me, but I went with it... it was vile, overpoweringly strong, and with an unpleasant aftertaste. It was strong enough that it almost felt like the tea had been made with something other than water. I'm giving the tea a three star rating because it seems unfair to give it one star because I personally didn't like the taste, especially since it's the first licorice root tea I've tried so I have nothing to compare it to. I guess there must be someone out there who likes it - but my word, this was simply not pleasant. I tried making another cup, larger this time (for dilution purposes, and because I like big glasses of tea), and planned to remove the bag at regular intervals until I found the proper time to steep it. I removed the bag after 5 seconds out of curiosity, and the tea was ALREADY unpleasantly strong. It's a bit hilarious actually. I'm planning on giving my 22 remaining bags to friends and having them finish a big mug as a dare. I might make T-Shirts to congratulate them if any of them manage to finish the cup. It'll be fun. My advice to you is to be very careful if you've never tried licorice root tea before. If you must try it, use a lot of water and steep it for way less than 15 minutes. This stuff is absurd.

I bought this tea as I often suffer from urinary track infection. It is quiet hard to find an organic version of this tea in the shop. I was using the tea only for a day and the burning has already decreased by 70%. By the second day the burning sensation whilst passing urine has completely stopped. I am no doctor to say that it will work on you, however the tea has helped me personally. have ordered two boxes as I often suffer from infection but I still have one full box and 15 left out of 24 from the first box. I used altogether 9 tea bags to get rid of that awful burning pain. This product is USDA certified organic and also NSF gluten free. Also the tea bag packaging has a easy peal sticker inside to be resealed in order to keep it fresh. The only downside is the taste but I am happy to put up with it as long as it helps me to ease my pain.
