It worked perfectly. I have in my cigar humidor and it is very accurate. I could just look to check but I like hi can use the app to see current and recent numbers.

Concern #1: Product does not have a display OFF setting to conserve battery. This is not adequate, as constant battery replacement renders product expensive to maintain. For my use-case, the product would have been placed into an enclosure for monitoring temperature/humidity changes (think humidor, guitar case, etc) without opening the enclosure to take readings. Product was first evaluated by placing next to a room thermostat for comparison, with sensor facing outward towards the open space, while the thermostat was adjusted by several degrees. Initial power-ON discrepancy shows a difference of 6 degrees F even when product was kept in a reasonably temperature stable room (73-75 deg F) over several days. [See photo.] Product took over 15 minutes to adjust to variance below 1 deg F. Temperature tracking lags inadequately (e.g. tracking response is less than 0.5 degrees F variation) when thermostat is adjusted by several degrees F and therefore would be inaccurate when such monitored enclosures are transported between dissimilar environments or if such environments are not well regulated. This product would suffice only if the environment is well regulated, which makes this item unsuitable in all other cases. Therefore, I do NOT reccomend this product when your items require reliable environmental monitoring in less than predictable environmental conditions.

Works well. You can turn the blue tooth off to save battery

When I bought this it was $17.99. Now that I have it the price has gone up and in my opinion even at $17.99 it was overpriced. The app is a very basic app. You can set notifications to alert you if the temperature or the humidity levels you set go above or below your settings. But… the notification only alerts you when you open the app to view it. Not when your phone is closed or the app is not open. Also the alert is a cheap car horn sound. Last is the import one the Bluetooth range to your phone to the temp device is very limited. I have to be in the same room so I can get a reading. So I will say you range out after 9 feet. I am currently using this for my cigar humidor. Until I find a device just has small with a digital readout the has a better range this is it. But not for $20 + .
