I added the Rock Shaker 10 to my 2-channel vinyl setup (Polk XT60 towers, Fosi ZA3 amp), and I’m really impressed. Setup was simple with the sub-out on my amp, and it blended seamlessly with my speakers. The bass is deep, tight, and fills in the low end without overwhelming the mids or highs.For the price, this sub punches way above its weight. It delivers that extra impact I was missing from my towers and really brings records to life. After dialing in crossover and volume, it feels like the bass is just part of the system not a separate “boom box”.Highly recommend if you want solid, musical bass and an easy upgrade to your stereo rig.

I was very pleased after receiving this sub woofer. It is well constructed and they used good conponents. I like the fact that it goes down to 20 Htz, very few sub woofers go this low,even high dollar ones. I connected to the subwoofer output of my receiver with a single RCA cable. Manual states that if receiver only has one output you can plug it into either right or left input, you do not need a Y connecter. I use two 3-way front speakers which go down to 50 Htz. I set the cross-over at about 65 and adjusted the volume of the subwoofer to blend in with the bass from the front speakers. This works quite well, you can hear the really low frequencies without overwhelming the other frequencies. With the addition of this subwoofer I can now enjoy the full range of what is humanly possible ( 20 Htz - 20,000 Htz ). I was a little hesitant to try this subwoofer because of the price. I thought it might be too good to be true, however this is not the case. I bought this to replace a Klipsch ( one of top brands in audio) subwoofer which I payed a heck of alot more for years ago. This has all the functions of the high dollar Klipsch and more importantly, it performs just as well! The only draw back is minor. The crossover control is not marked well enough to get a precise frequency setting. You can get pretty close and maybe I'm just a little to particular, I like things to be exact. This is a very good product that performs as well as ones costing much more. I strongly recommend this product. It is NOT to good to be true. It's a great product at an incredible price. Don't hesitate, You won't regret it.

3.5 /4 I'm torn for the price I guess it does what it does .. its clean-ish keep the vol fairly low and xover around 70 80 ish .. maybe should've gotten the 12 . But I don't know if that would change vs just being louder. It's for my mom but we are both used to her jl12w6 and my 13w7 in our cars so it's not a fair comparison. Home theater is fairly newish and after thought .. paired with Onkyo speakers and Sony receiver .. Budget build. Can hear it outside the house which I give cool points .. It's not.. Bad it's just I need to spend more I guess.. music was everything from future and old 36 mafia to queen mj Luther and savannah band...I put it thru various types of bass and range..I say 3.5/5 my mom says 4/5

Sounds like $#!+. Sorry but no. I have had 100watt computer speakers that can outperform this junk. Also at high volume you can tell the driver is being abused and can’t handle the wattage.Crossover claims 50hz but it is not probably more like 100hz at best. Only thud bass no real lows can hear vocals in the bass.Returning this junk.

I purchased the sub for my son after he ditched his floor speakers and went with upper end bookshelf speakers. I have the same setup, 2 bookshelf speakers and a floor sub. Made an incredible difference. I'm not a huge audiophile, but the sub + bookshelf speakers is a great pairing. This not only gives great bass, but fills in the midrange quite well. This subwoofer is solid. Reasonable price for a clean bass addition. It does have phase control for multiple subs and volume/power adjustment.

When used correctly this sub is not bad. It shakes the walls when helicopters fly over it makes you jump when large caliber bullets are fired, and it sounds OK for music depending on what you’re listening to. It does have a little problem getting down to 20 Hz or lower but how often do we really go that low?The box was a little cheaply made, I did have to put a little lot of silicone in the clips that hold the front cover on to keep it from leaking air, but overall for the price you’re not gonna find this much bang for your buck. Make sure it’s tuned correctly, don’t try to overpower and don’t try to make it do more than it’s supposed to, I fill like it will blow if you do, but for the money I’m extremely happy with the product that I received!! 20 years ago I would have blown this thing up in 10 minutes. I would say it’s more for mature, audio, enthusiast people looking for a good quality home theater sound and not trying to get the cops called. Not for apartment usage!!!

Nice, simple sub for the money. I spend a lot of time in my garage so decided to add this to my Aperion Audio powered speakers. Sounds great together and provides a lot more bass punch.
