Does what it says! Very strong / tight fit with MOLLE pouches threaded.
Works great but be careful with how far you drive in the screws. I should not have used my 1/4” impact… so I had to back them out a few turns to get them flush again.

Does NOT perfectly fit into an Apache 5800
Purchased this for my Harbor Freight Apache 5800 (Pelican 1510 clone). It will fit but with some modification or omitting the center top and bottom latch points. Also, the included self tapping screws are too small to fit the Apache lid. Be aware you will need to source alternate hardware. Other than that, thus lid panel works as advertised.

Do your research! It's great if you have the right model and some common sense.
I have a Pelican 1620. Not a variation or a clone. On the inside of my 1620 lid it has 7 raised areas to match the 7 attachments points. If you don't have these, these panels are NOT for your case unless you decide to make some spacers or figure something else out. My lid originally had foam glued in so I had some removal scratches, not that it matters but in case anyone saw my pics and wondered. I screwed in the attachment points, slid the panel on top, locked it in, VOILA! Done. * I added adhesive loop on mine so I can use pouches that have hook sewn in. PROS: Easy install Light weight but sturdy material Very secure Easy to remove so you can weave pouches in if you want CONS: It's expensive for what it is but it's made FOR a specific purpose

Make sure your 1610 pelican case has the mounting pad for the lid, mine was an older model which did not, now have to figure away to make it work.
