They sound great. No expect here, but compared to some cheaper speakers, there is a huge difference. Using with Sony STRDH190 Amplifier. No distortion and powers them really well.

Bought for my mother as Christmas gift. When set up with Technics receiver I was blown away by the quality of sound. Bass and treble are very distinct with vocals crystal clear. Other more expensive speakers may provide better quality but for £250 you cannot go far wrong with these Cambridge Audio. I have a Technics receiver myself and have a pair of QAcoustics playing through but I am seriously considering purchasing these Cambridge Audio as replacements.

My old JPWs having finally given up the ghost after 28 years, I was a bit trepidatious about having to acquire much smaller speakers in order to meet my budget. My apprehensions were proved unfounded though with these gems from Cambridge Audio. A doddle to set up with my existing banana plug speaker cables fitting straight in with no problems whatever, and my (also nearly 30-year old) Creek amp feeding them superbly. With these speakers I'm hearing tiny little micro-sounds from my synth music favourites such as Tangerine Dream and Steve Roach that I've never heard before. I may be taking up the option Cambridge provide (in the box contents) of inserting foam bass tuning bungs into the provided ports as the bass is a little boomy compared to what I'm used to- but that's just personal preference and may be a function of the speaker location. Overall I strongly recommend these speakers.

Excellent sound quality

Had bought these after my Wharfdale speakers packed in. Look the part. Very sturdy. The sound coming from them are so warm, clear and the tones you get from them are amazing. Heard things I’ve never heard before. With a decent amp the will annoy the neighbours. Glad I bought them.

Diffusori che suonano così bene a questo prezzo è impossibile trovarli. La resa sonora dopo anche poche ore di ascolto è molto sorprendente su tutte le frequenze. Alti cristallini, le voci molto reali e bassi ben presenti. Si percepisce abbastanza la separazione tra i vari strumenti. Paragonati a diffusori che costano anche 3 - 4 volte di più reggono bene il confronto. Se li acquistate non ve ne pentirete.

Beautiful sweet sounding full range Cambridge SX-60 speakers . I am also using a Cambridge 340A intergrated 50 watt amplifier which matches the SX-60's perfectly. The mid range and high frequencies sound very natural and the clarity and details are great. If you want super sonic bass you can always add a subwoofer. Conclusion: I am a very happy that I purchased the Cambridge SX-60 speakers. NOTE: A good speaker will only sounds as good the amplfier driving them.

Me he sorprendido gratamente con esta compra, ya teniendo un componente (amplificador) de la misma marca, me puse en búsqueda e investigación sobre estos altavoces. Pasadas muchas horas de comparaciones, reviews, videos, no quedaba otra que probarlos por mi mismo, la verdad estoy FASCINADO con ellos!. sonido claro y potente en todo su espectro. Aun no he tenido las 100hs de reproducción recomendadas para su mejor eficacia, pero voy a ello y muchas más!. Recomendados!

Une enceinte sur les 2 est sans aigus. Le tweeter ne fonctionne pas même en permutant celle de gauche avec celle de droite au cas où mon ampli serait HS sur un canal. Essayées également sur un autre ampli toujours le même problème sur cette même enceinte. Déçu au vu du prix et de la réputation de la marque. Étonnant qu'elles ne soient pas essayées avant emballage... Retournées immédiatement bien entendu.
