Hillman 92174 Zinc Pan Head Phillips Machine Screws (#10-24 x 2-1/2") - 100 Pieces

Purchased these for a pack of 50 Snaptoggle anchors that are sold without screw (but a tremendous value). To purchase 100 of these from one of the big box stores ends up being cost prohibitive. These are zinc plated and are great for dry or indoor use. Quality is very good and so far, no issues with any. These are fine threads so make sure you don't need course threads for your application.

They worked well. The fit to a standard but and washer setup goes together nice. The strength is a little low. I had several shear off when assembling, but I didn’t do a torque test to validate they are worse than ASME. I am judging them entirely off of feel. They work well, I just don’t know if they work as well as standard Home Depot-esk parts…

Worked prefect for what I needed them for

My concern with buying screws online has always been the quality of the threading. I do a lot of mounting of TVs and heavy items and it is important to have screws which will fasten to the bolts easily, reliably and quickly. Any thread-defect or rough edges can cost me time and money. Hillman screws do not disappoint!

I use these screws with T-nuts to hold 45lb woofers. Combo works great! Just make sure you have a good Philips bit not to strip the screw.
