Love this thing! Cleans up pet disasters well! Works GREAT at sucking up the mess!

This little machine is lightweight and easy to use. It cleans up to a 2 square foot carpet area, perfect for spills and pet messes. It is much more effective than spray-on foam or liquid. The vacuum is very good at drawing liquid out of the carpet, so it dries fast. It won't replace my carpet machine for large areas, but is much easier for small areas.Cons: The hose is inconveniently short - you may have to keep moving the machine. Sometime the solution sprayer takes a little prodding before it starts working.

I was tiring of using sponge and bottled cleaner every time one of the cats threw up. When I saw this item, I had to try it out. Using a diluted mixture of water and "pet mess" cleaner by Hoover, The next time a cat ate some grass and deposited on our carpet, I tried it out. I was thrilled with the ease I got the mess cleaned up and dried (not absolutely dry, but very close, much better than a sponge and paper towel). Cleaning the unit afterward wasn't a necessity, but it was quite easy in a sink.The only issues I have are, the holder of the solution was pretty small, so I have to refill it often (I get about 1 cleanup per full tank) and there is no description as to how much "pet mess" and water I have to mix to get the desired solution. I called Hoover to ask that question, and the person had no idea what I was talking about.

I’ve had this for a couple months now. I’ve tried it on a bunch of different items. Honestly this is pretty good but I did encounter some problems. The vacuum itself, amazing; however the solution it gives you is lacking. It doesn’t work stains out that well. I had better luck with just hot water tbh. I also did come across what other reviews said on it bubbling out and the waste water coming out the back but, at least on mine, that was an operator error. I wasn’t paying attention and let it fill past the max line. The same thing will happen if it’s tipped a bit while operating. It says not to use any other product but who really listens to that anyway. I find even the more bubbling cleaning solutions still work with it. Over all it works relatively well. My stains are out of the couches, mattress, gaming chair, rug, car seats and Some outdoor furniture as well. And even though I had some issues, it still works. No loss of suction over time, nor it breaking(even after stepping on it). And as a side note it did take a month to be delivered to me and I live in the south in the USA. If you think of buying it just be prepared to wait. Lol.

This product is good in a pinch, but for a normal basis use, it's not that great. The hose is not long enough, so when I use it to do the back of the couch, the machine wants to tip over and leak out. The scrub brush is basically useless. It is so close to the suction that the solution is getting sucked up before you can get the piece of furniture scrubbed well enough. I had to use a separate scrub brush. The machine also uses too much solution at a time. Instead of spraying or spritsing, it drizzles and causes you to have to use more solution and doesn't hit the area directly. I wouldn't recommend buying this.

Don't plan on cleaning a couch or the car with this little toy! When it says "spot cleaner" it means spot cleaner. All the other contexts is just fluff. Just because it can suck up a dog's hair doesn't mean it can do more then that. This little guy is one glorified spray bottle with a weak vacuum attached to it. Keep in mind you MUST only buy their cleaner. Trust me when I say your better off if you buy a shot vac and a pump action sprayer cheaper then this THING. And you'll do a faster job at cleaning a couch and not suckered in to their cleaning brand. You'll be eliminating the times it takes to move this little guy with you because it doesn't have wheels and the time of refilling the cleaner you'll use up in no time. To top it all off the time it takes to clean the vacuum after using it. Trust me there is more powerful longer lasting easier to use with easy maintenance and cheaper things to use then this wasted contraption that suckers you in to their brand of cleaner. Don't get me wrong, I was ready make this toy work. I knew it had a short hose and the small solution container but I wasn't ready for the amount of cleaner this little thing uses. You'll spend a fortune on cleaner if you want to get anything other then a spot out of your carpet. That is the catch. You know those cheap printers you can buy but spend a fortune on ink cartridges. In a nut shell that is exactly what this item is. Don't get suckered in to it. I'm ashamed that hoover would sink this low. Because they make such great vacuum's for the most part.

(Using husband's account to order) I had my eyes on this little machine for months. I was skeptical, even though a lot of reviewers liked it. There were the few who mentioned leaking, which concerned me. But after watching a few videos, and reading reviews on other sites, I think some may have put water in the front clear tank. While looking at it, it definitely seems like you should! If I hadnt watched the videos, I wouldn't have known myself.We have 2 dogs, and I have a very messy husband. So our one year old sectional definitely needed some love. Especially the chaise lounge, where we all tend to want to be. Dog drool, spilled drinks, even an accident from an excited puppy had made me hate that lounge.I sprayed down the cushion (which you have to hold the sprayer completely parallel to the cushion or carpet, and instinct is to aim the nozzle) and let it sit for a while. After about 5 minutes, I sucked up some nasty water! And stains are IMMEDIATELY gone! It is wonderful. And the dog smell is totally gone. It dried wonderfully and gave a refresh to a gorgeous couch. Highly recommend if you have dogs. Or if you have back problems like me, the lightweight machine is great for spots, but honestly I'm planning to use it on every couch cushion. I dont care how many trips I have to make to the sink! We're expecting our son in October, so I'm excited to deep clean the whole couch before he's here.
