This is our second Freestyle Caroline. The first one died after a month in summer camp - not sure if it was in the water too much but the numbers flicked off and on and then just died. Yes, we tried a new battery. :) When a company sends you a breakable item in a flimsy box in an ENVELOPE, there's bound to be damage. The box was crushed, the watch stand was broken and there were NO INSTRUCTIONS. So....we had to purchase something else locally because it was supposed to be a gift. Will be returning!! So disappointed.

So cute and is water proof so i never have to take it off but it is a little hard to figure out how to work it at first
