Great food for cats
Great product. Cat loves the food. Does not make him sick like other foods. Smell is not fishy or funky. It looks like real food.

My rescue cats are pretty picky eaters but they absolutely love this brand

Your cat will thank you!
My cat’s new favorite food. Has them begging for more. I recently treated them to this on as a holiday meal and they both stopped eating their regular food and want this all the time. They know the sound of the pack opening. Also, decided to swap their dry food to applaws and they are so happy and so is their digestive systems.

My cat has a positive response to this product
This is a new purchase, and so far, it has been quite satisfactory. My feline companion has responded positively to this product, which is a significant improvement for her. I am grateful for this, as she is aging and requires balanced, healthy nutrition. My hope is that she continues to eat it, and if she does, I will purchase more of this product. She prefers chicken. The price is reasonable when compared to other limited-ingredient brands available. The quality appears to be good and aligns with the product description. The smell is to be expected. Nutritionally, it contains real chicken, which is prominently listed as the first ingredient. The serving size is a substantial portion, especially considering her age of sixteen years. She is not a grazer, so she consumes a standard portion, which means a bowl will last for a day or more because she also eats dry food.

Five paws!
I have a problem. A big problem. Ever since I introduced my two adorable tyrants to this food, my life has become a constant state of begging and meowing. The moment I even look in the direction of the kitchen, they're already there, either performing a perfectly synchronized dance of desperate pleas or sitting around plotting on how to get an early dinner. This isn't just cat food; it's a gourmet meal that has turned my cats into raving fans. They don't just eat it—they inhale it and leave no trace behind. The empty bowls are licked so clean they practically sparkle. I've never seen my cats so happy, or so demanding. So, if you want to make your cat's dreams come true (and perhaps, in the process, lose a little bit of your own sanity), this is the food for you. Or for them. Mine give it five out of five paws, and I give it a "help me, they won't stop begging" rating.

Properly evaluating cat/dog food may be difficult due to individual preferences
Let's face it, for most of us, we tend to purchase cat or dog food based on how the food looks and appeals to us. I've seen photos on cat food ads that looked so good - heck, I would have eaten them. The problem is that a 5 star rating for one brand, might result in a 1 star rating from someone else. Our pets are just as picky as many of us when it comes to finding the right food, and nothing can be more frustrating then to just have purchased a small or large case of a particular offering, only to have your cats thumb their noses up at them. There are two brands of cat food that my 3 adopted feral cats have thoroughly enjoyed and I feed them cans of food from either brand each day. These brands are from Applaws and Reveal. They apparently are same company (although priced differently) because they offer the exact same formulations (with the same ingredients). The Applaws brand (and corresponding Reveal brand) feature canned cat food with only natural ingredients, which do not include any preservatives. Now if you were to price the 24 can case of Applaws - let's say the Tuna with Crab in sauce - with that of the same in the Reveal brand, you'd find that the Reveal offering is some $10-$15 less expensive than the Applaws offering. I never understood this because it is so apparent that these are the same companies. Where you save money with the Applaws offering (if you happened to settle on that brand) is when you purchase the 8 can packs. Both Applaws and Reveal appeal to my cats (who are normally very picky eaters). Each morning when I feed them with these cans of food, they inhale the formulations and there is nothing left. When you open the cans, you can see that the food looks natural (actually looks like you're opening a can of human tuna). In closing, it used to be that I would waste hundreds of dollars experimenting with different cat food formulations (canned food), with each brand guaranteeing that cats will love their food. As you know, this is never the case. Then I first stumbled upon the Reveal brand (which my cats fell in love with), and then discovered that the Applaws brand basically has the same formulations, but typically at a higher price (go figure?). So yes, with the 3 cats I have (indoor cats), they love both the Applaws and Reveal brands, and I am giving this a 5 star rating. It's all subjective, I know. After all, there might be some folks here whose cats just thumbed their noses up at these brands.

Not a favorite with my cats
Applaws Natural Cat Food clearly focuses on quality, with a limited ingredient list and natural-looking ingredients that feel reassuring as a pet owner. I like knowing exactly what I’m feeding my cats, and the food seems well made with no unnecessary fillers. That said, it’s been hit or miss in our household. Out of four cats, only two actually enjoy it, while the others refuse to eat it, which makes it hard to justify buying regularly. It’s a good option if your cat likes the taste, but if you have picky eaters, results may vary.

While this food is pricey and comes in a non-recycleable plastic container, the picky pusscat devours it! The single serve package is,a little difficult to open, but there is little to no wasting of food.
