As someone who loves to journal, I was excited to try this handmade leather journal with vintage paper. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The unique handmade vintage paper gives the journal a timeless feel. It's almost like writing on paper pulled straight from history. The paper is also surprisingly durable, and I've yet to experience any bleeding or feathering. The binding of the journal is strong and sturdy, ensuring that none of the pages come loose. And the leather wraparound not only keeps the journal safe and secure but also adds a touch of elegance to the overall design. Speaking of design, the premium soft supple thick genuine leather feels and smells amazing. It's clear that the leather used in this journal is the real deal, and not some cheap substitute. I appreciate the cruelty-free, naturally tanned full-grain leather, which adds to the authenticity and uniqueness of the journal. Using this journal truly makes me feel like I'm writing my way back in time, capturing my thoughts and experiences in a way that feels special and almost sacred. As for improvements, I would suggest adding a built-in bookmark and a pen holder. Also, while the paper is durable, it can be a bit too textured for some pens or ink types. I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this journal, but it's great! It's very well made and very thick. The leather is supple and easily aged by just massaging it with your fingers. The paper is quite rough, as you would expect with handmade paper and you have to be careful when erasing pencil, but all-in-all it's fantastic and looks at home on my oak rolltop desk.

This is a high quality book. Can be used for whatever you like, but I use it as a journal/diary. The leather is too quality and smells great. The pages are crisp and stained to look ancient. Doesnt fall apart despite how old it looks. Its more sturdy than a modern pad. I love it. Thank you.

Paper is nice, rough and fake stained. The binding looks and smells the part but does not have the worn look of the illustrations. At first glance it is a very old notebook, although a little small for my use, I should have bought a bigger one. Then the cover does not fully enclose the pages on one side being about ten millimeters short. Fortunately for me it really isn't worth sending back as I bought it as a prop for a play, not to write in, but some could be disappointed by this. It's a problem sometimes with hand made items.

In really pleased with this journal, it's a good size and seems well made. The deckled paper makes it look like it's been found bricked up behind a wall in an old tomb. If there's going to be a treasure map it'll be in this journal, the papers got that look about it. My only criticism is the leather cover looks new, but that's easy to crease and make it look worn/old. I'd highly recommend this journal.

I think this is an amazing journal who wants an old fashioned style in there life it is a outstanding journal that I belive is extremely good and the price for it is phenomenal

I bought this for a RenFair and while it looks really cool, something about the paper makes it difficult to write on with pencil. I've not tried pen yet as I have a feeling it's going to bleed unless I use a biro (not exactly RenFair friendly).

Helaas een klein formaat ontvangen. Op de foto in de advertentie waren een pen en een bril afgebeeld waaruit je kon opmaken dat het boek groter zou zijn.
