Great tape measure

Better than described

There is a couple of cabinet makers I work with that their shop drawings are in centimeters. I use a standard fat max tape measure daily,I’ve tried the other brands and have always went back to my fat max, I decided to upgrade my metric tape measure to the same quality.

I had a contractor at the house and was amazed that he could measure an entire room without the tape measure getting floppy. I one clicked this guy and could not be happier with the results. As the contractor said, "Once you have a fat max you'll laugh at everyone else's limp d*** tape measures."

Still works, but got a little twisty quicker than usual. Wish it lasted longer for $50. Still like it though.

I love this tool. The most important is the two lenght, Metric and SAE. This is a hard case.

La tuve que devolver porque no se me huzo práctica. Es voluminosa y pesada, si bien, se siente bien construida, es más fácil trabajar con las Fat Max tradicionales.

Los buscamos en tiendas y no logramos encontrar los dos sistemas métricos y que el flexómetro fuera así de ancho, lo queríamos para regalo y mi hermano estaba feliz 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

The 32mm width of this 8m tape makes it, like other tapes this size, pretty heavy so it’s not going to sit in your pocket very easily. Having said that, the width gives it good throw and it will stay rigid for a good length. It has durability and accuracy you’d expect from Stanley and has quickly become my go to tape measure. If I was going to make a criticism it would be that the surface finish is very shiney and this can make it difficult to read in bright light. This may fade over time however. I’ve also seen other criticism that it can be reluctant to retract and this is true. Personally I like this though, my Komelon tape I lost which this replaces shot back so fiercely it almost took your eye out. The Stanley just needs a little shake to persuade it so there’s no need for safety gear.🤭

It's a great tape measure. Very strong and extends a good distance and is self supporting. Very happy and use it regularly.

Dies ist das beste Maßband

Detta är det stabilaste måttband som jag har köpt. Det kan sträckas ut 4,3 meter rakt ut i luften innan det faller mot marken. Imponerande!
