The old standby, when you need it, you need it. Works well to keep tretinoin off of the eye area and in a pinch works well as a lip balm. It is triple purified, which is important to me and my family and we do not trust the no name brands in terms of overall quality. The Vaseline product has many useful applications on the body and around the house. Affordable and great to have on hand.

I read online that moisturizing with Vaseline overnight helps get rid of acne. I was skeptical but it does actually work. I thought it would clog my pores, but Vaseline is non-comodegenic so it won't clog your pores. Vaseline itself does not combat acne, but it provides a protective skin barrier which helps reduce friction and irritation which exacerbates acne. Also, it moisturizers really well so your skin won't get dry and clog your pores. My face feels so soft in the mornings and my acne is finally going away. I don't like the greasy feeling when I first put this on my face but it helps remind me not to touch my face or pick at my acne (probably one of the reasons it's going away lol). Also, if you get chin acne like me I read that washing your face with dandruff shampoo that has "Ketoconazole" as the active ingredient does wonders so I've been washing my face with Nizoral dandruff shampoo too. Between the shampoo face wash and the Vaseline moisturizing my chin has cleared up almost completely. Never would have though either one would have been good to put on my face, but if you suffer from acne like me I would suggest looking into them :) do your research, not everyone's skin is the same but these worked for me after other face washes, oils, benzoyl peroxide, and prescription acne skin stuff failed me.

I haven't used Vaseline since... I don't even know. But, I needed some because I had inner ear surgery and had to create a barrier that would not allow water to get in my ear while showering. It was recommended by my neuro-otologist to use this on a cotton ball and it worked beautifully. Although I will say, having a Vaseline soaked cotton ball in my ear was a little reminiscent of my brother giving me wet willies all those years ago, lol. I can't remember all the things that we used to use Vaseline for in the past, besides lip gloss, but I'm sure I'll find other uses for it. I like how the lid is hinged and stays attached to the container when opening it.

My patients live this stuff. They like to use it on lips but mainly to keep his nostrils moisture since he is prone to nosebleeds.

My dermatologist recommended me to try these in replacement for lip balm or chapstick because they weren't any additional addictive and will do the same thing. I gave it a try and noticed a difference immediately. I have been dealing with dry lips and some dry skin in some areas because I am on some medication. However, once I started applying the product in the dry area at night, I noticed my lips and skin did not dry up anymore. If you do use this product, it is a bit glossy so it may be noticeable when it's still "wet" so that is why I mostly use it at night.

It is what it is. I use it every day after my shower to hydrate my skin. My derm doc recommended it when I had a really irritating itch on my calf. Not even OTC hydrocortisone helped. But after a few days, the itch was gone. And my skin is soft!
