Diablo Carbide Jig Saw Blade for Fiber Cement & Plaster - T-Shank, 4" Length, Carbide Tooth Design, 6 TPI - DJT141HM

Works great on 1/2" Durock AND 5/16" HardiePanel. I'm just finishing building an outdoor kitchen, and I've used multiple angle grinders (corded and cordless), circular saws (corded and cordless), and my cordless jigsaw. I was surprised at how great this blade is on HardiePanel, which is much more dense than Durock. This blade cuts easily, doesn't deflect, and stays sharp. I like it so much, that I'm even ordering another as a spare. The only challenge with cutting is keeping the dust away from the line for visibility, but just like any cutting of cement board, put a couple of fans blowing at your work area, and wear a respirator and protective eyewear - embarrassingly, I usually don't with woodwork, but this cement dust is superfine and nasty stuff.

used this for cutting out lights and receptacles in hardy board siding and it cut through like butter and i was able to do an entire house( about 50 holes) and the blade could probly do 3 or 4 more houses would reccomend this for anyone needing to cut hardy siding

Works great for cutting Hardie siding. I use it for round cuts or complicated cuts. I've used one blade for my whole house and it's still working great. Normal wood blades can't even make it through one cut on the Hardie siding.

Works real well on cement fiber. Hold up good for Harris siding, etc. Have since ordered another. Best blade I have found for jigsaw and cement siding. Typical Freud quality

I had a small siding job to do on a shed using Hardie Panel siding, so I picked up this blade to do all of the cuts for the shorter odd cuts around windows and doors. This little blade worked great in a cheap black and decker sander. Reasonably fast cuts and not too many jagged edges. Blade still has plenty of life after the job too, so while I’ll probably never use it again, I could.

Blade cuts quickly but leaves a very jagged edge and rips up the paper facing on Hardi plank.

Built a fence-top with Hardie Plank siding. Many cuts later, the blade is still sharp. Diablo is great quality!

Bought these for cutting James Hardie weatherboards as we couldn’t get these blades in Au. They cut cement sheets beautifully. Great product!
