Shimano,Black,ERDM3100SGS Alivio Alivio M3100 Rear derailleur, 9-Speed, Shadow Design, SGS Long cage

This was a true Shimano Derailleur, I have order some before and they were packed in Shimano packaging and were off brand. It worked for my son’s bike. Price and performance are good for a kids bike that will end up taking a beating. Easy to install with some basic tools. Once dialed in it shifts like it should.

I run this on my Fuji mountain bike in good and bad weather. On and off road. I use ALL my gears because I keep my cadence up during steep climbs and single track ups and downs. This rear derailleur does fine by me. My quick and multiple gear changes are good even under stressed conditions such as twisty uphill changes. I do not race but I do abuse my bikes for maximum fun. If you must replace your rear derailleur, be sure you haven't bent the rear dropout.

Seems to work well, also seems to be of better quality than the original one .

This was an inexpensive Shimano Alvio class derailure system that I bought for my old Rans Nimbus long wheelbase recumbent. The freewheel is a Shimano 7 speed mega and I also changed out the shifter from a Revoshift to a Shimano trigger shifter. What surprised me was how close the derailure rides next to the wheel spokes. It never touched but I had to tie the cable tail back so I wouldn't touch the spokes. It shifts very well especially after changing out the old chain to a KMC 8 speed.

Derailed sent was in good condition. Able to replace Shimano 105 short cage on old Giant Defy to accommodate larger cassette. Seems to work very well

This is obviously way overkill for the cheap application I had for it. I was just replacing an old shimano flat face. This shifts like a dream. So smooth.

Being older and bigger guy I need to have a granny gear for climbing the 7-9% grades in western New Mexico. After talking with a mechanic from the Trek SuperStore in Albuquerque he said that this would allow me to run a 11-36t 10-speed cassette on my Bianchi road bike using Shimano 105 shifters. Even though it is labeled as 9-speed, it works well with the 10-speed set up. The only major issue was dialing in the B screw on the back to get a gap so that gears don't touch the freewheels of the derailleur.

It worked almost 5500 miles and all the pins and linkages are moving freely. The chain is rubbing to the arms. Not expected at all. I replaced it today.

Produto chegou no prazo, bem embalado, não veio a nota e nem no saite não mostrava porém recebi depois pelo vendedor câmbio original, só falta tirar um tempo e fazer a estação e volto para dar minha opinião.
