Good qulity for price and were easy to install. Wifi a bonus, easy to open and close and the fit when closed is excellent. Would buy again in future. Nice and waterproof and function as described.

I recently purchased two WiFi sockets to streamline my outdoor tasks, and I must say, they've been a game-changer. One socket is installed at the front of my house, perfect for powering gardening tools and facilitating car cleaning with ease. The second socket, placed at the rear, handles power tools in the garden and conveniently connects my charging station for the Yuka robot mower. One of the standout features for me has been the excellent WiFi signal strength. Even at a distance of 30 meters from the rear socket, the signal remains strong, which is crucial for uninterrupted operation with my tools and mower. Similarly, the coverage in my enclosed front drive is robust, allowing seamless updates to my car's systems and supporting work in the front yard. Setting up these sockets was a breeze. I used my Android phone to search for the WiFi socket, followed by a straightforward connection process. Waiting for the blue light to stabilize indicated successful setup, and I was good to go. As an outdoor sealed power connection it’s proved completely waster proof and it’s easy and quick to remove the front plate to get to the box for screwing to the wall Connecting to your existing WiFi is easy as pressing a button then logging into the sockets own WiFi and then configuring it to match your own- I’ve found that it’s then I have some issues as the socket is probably just too far from my WiFi and doesn’t get a strong enough signal so I’ve found my phones just moving to use the phone signal instead of the WiFi. This is probably a rebuilt of my setup but my dream of WiFi over the garden isn’t quite there yet Still the price was very competitive and you can easily pay more for a standard external socket so I’ll experiment moving my internal WiFi extenders around to see if I can solve the problem

Gotta love this product. Two for the price of one. An outside double socket that also boosts your WiFi signal out to the garden. My garden is about 50ft long and I get full signal the entire length.

Frustrating experience with this product. The Wi-Fi signal is consistently weak and drops frequently. It fails to meet basic expectations, and I strongly advise against purchasing it.

This is a really good socket, bought this mainly because of the WI-FI built into it, having a summer house 30 metres from the main house and not in line of sight and having tried other “weatherproof” makes (all failing due to water ingress) I was a bit sceptical but it’s works great 6 months on with 3 months with a lot of rain it’s working as new.

Good bit of kit and keeps the weather out of the sockets. Seems to be available with smart sockets too which might be my next purchase for the Christmas lights in the garden.

Really good value for money, £10 cheaper than B&Q! Easy to install and the WiFi extender works a treat.
