I’ve never felt anything as excruciating as doc martens but using these make them feel like your heal is resting against fabric, not plastic , leather or wood. I’ll definitely still blister from friction but instead of getting overwhelmed thinking I won’t have a chance to break these in, they make it so I can walk a good amount of time. It’s not raw blisters anymore , it’s just normal blisters As for durability, not sure if it will last long. I’m putting them on in mind to be really careful just in case. They’re thick, but the holes are scaring me when it stretches

I have always had a problem wearing sandals when on holiday as my feet always always get huge blisters on the heels very quickly, regardless of the type of sandals or make. Just my feet I suppose. I chose these heel protectors as they are transparent and go over the foot completely and so wont come off when walking as I was using them for sandals and not shoes. They fitted perfectly and were comfortable to wear. I wore them to walk around beaches and streets every day for a week in 40+ temperatures. As you walk the heel does ride up a bit at the back but you dont feel this and it in no way interferes with the heels purpose. I then took them off and washed them and used them the next day. Did they stop me getting blisters? Absolutely. No blisters and no painful heels. A very good buy.

I got these as I’ve been having issues with heel slippage in seemingly all shoes on my right foot, causing blisters. These fit nicely, not snug but not loose either they stretch to fit your heel. At first the feeling is odd, it feels especially weird walking in firmer boots/shoes as you feel the gel more, whereas softer shoes you don’t feel it as much. Hopefully something I’ll just get used to as time goes on. They are quite thick feeling once you put your foot in your shoe, definitely makes the whole fit feel a little more snug (which could be good or bad depending on your fit, for me it’s work out good as the slippage issue was my narrow heels. Edit: Initially used them for a 10 min walk and they were fine, but on a longer walk (30-40 mins) they slipped back whilst walking and left the heel uncovered. If you’re going to be stationary or only walking a little then these are fine, but if you are going to be very active you’ll need to readjust these every 20-30 mins to put them back in place. Disappointed as these seemed to be the solution for my issues, but I’m gonna have to keep looking for alternatives.
