Old & thin skinned
I'm Old & thin Skinned, just the slightest insult and I get bruised, to say nothing of near misses scrapping the top 1 or 2 layers off my thin skin. Since I've got these sleeves, the bruises just slip on by as do the skin scrapings. Didn't even know about them until a chance meeting at lunch, where a fellow geezer showed me his, found them on Amazon, other places found me Hockey Elbow & Knee pads, not quite what I was looking for.

Very Satisfied Customer
I searched the internet thoroughly gathering info on arm protectors. I determined that these Secure Sleeves would best fill my need. I am 77 years old, thin skin and take a blood thinner, therefore, I am bruised heavily on both arms from the elbow down. I have worn these sleeves for 10 days and have no new bruises and no tears. They are comfortable and fit good (I wear size large). I have purchased another pair since I received these and plan to get more when I can afford them. The only problem I have had is that the band at the top is too tight. I have not yet figured out how to loosen it. It is needed to keep the sleeves smooth and in place. Any ideas on this will be appreciated. This problem is not big enough to take away from the good price, comfortable fit and soft material.

Top is tight but gloves are soft
These arm protectors arrived today. I have thin skin from long term steroid use. I cut and bruise easily. I bought a Large per the chart; my upper arm circumference is 12". As you see the top is about 3" unstretched. It stretches to 4" (which is to say 8" around) comfortably, but at 5" (10" around) it's snug. That means it's tight for my 12" bicepts. I think the X Large would have been too baggy in the forearms. At first I thought I'd just return them. Now I've decided the benefit of these outweighs the problem. I'm simply going to cut off the top band -- they're a bit long anyway -- and sew in my own lightweight elastic. * (see below) The material is so soft and the weight and thickness is just right. Actually they might stay up on their own without elastic, they have mild compression.* PS just by cutting them 1/2" above the red line they're perfect and stay up by themselves. No need to sew in my own elastic. . Later, I also cut the hand elastic and that’s fine too. All in all, I’m happy now. I’d suggest the manufacturer use an elastic with more give, then they’d have five star protectors.

Need More size options in Purchase Site
When the order came, the brochure inside the sleeve listed sizes medium and small in different colors. The site for making the order didn't give those options. I weigh 115 pounds and I wonder if a size medium would fit better for me.

Help forThin Skin Condition Sufferers
Thank you for making this product available. .. I have thin skin and have been looking for something that can help to prevent the tearing and bruising that happens every time I play with my dog who just delights in jumping on me (65 lb. poodle) and when I bump into anything lol.My doctors had no suggestion, and so when I found these sleeves I ordered them immediately.. I have found them to do a very good job at protecting my arms and they also keep my arms warm and comfortable. So to them I suggest that they let Doctors know of benefits to those with thin. skin.

Good quality
These have been great for my mom. She's in her late 60s and bruises easily on her hands, wrists and forearms. Recently she had a fairly bad slip that caused a light globe to break on her hand. It caused a lot of bleeding due to the number of bruises on her hand busting when the glass hit her hand. She's hit her hand on a few things since getting these, but no bruising. Here's hoping they keep working. She's tried just about everything from a similar pair of hand/forearm protectors made by Under Armour for use by football players to the various different bruises creams. I'll update in a few months to see how well they hold up. So far it's a 5 star product.

What I received looked nothing like the picture
What I received looked nothing like the picture. Instead, it was black, had no hand part with a thumb and fingers cutout, it said it had steel in it, and was black and simply went over the forearm. I am very disappointed in this. I was expecting what is shown in the picture - beige or brown cotton/spandex sleeve that went over the hand, leaving the fingers and thumb free. I expected it to reach above the elbow about half way between the elbow and the shoulder. I expected it to be lightweight. I really think my order was read incorrectly or something.

The skin on my lower arms is thin and easily torn and bruised
The SecureSleeves fit well and protect my lower arms from harm from my dogs. I roll up the over the thumb part to my wrist to work around the house. I have large upper arms and will order the longer sleeves next time. I wear them when I don't have on a long sleeve top. The skin on my lower arms is thin and easily torn and bruised. I plan to purchase more and I recommend them for anyone needing arm protection.
