Absolute quality. It's a lot cheaper than paying someone to assist with cutting lengths of wood and gives you less hassle. Speeds up the process and steadies the job so you can achieve perfect straight, sharp cuts, extremely important to a quality finish. It's light so is easy to carry, small so easy to store. It has a raise and lower function so adjusting to the height of your bench on different chop saws is easily achievable and has a roller so feeding timber back and fourth to your marks to ensure a perfect, accurate cut is more achievable on your own.

Really good bit of kit to support longer lengths of wood when using my compound mitre saw on the ground. Easy height adjustable and lets lengths of wood roll easily when adjusting for the cut. I would recommend and it’s reasonably priced.

A very sturdy piece of kit. I used the pair either side of my thicknesser as in and out feed as they adjusted to the changing height of the rising table as the wood became thinner.

Bought to mostly support the other end of long pieces when drilling on my drill press. Does the job well though if anything is not level you have to watch the piece does't slide off the edge of the roller after moving back and forth. This took a direct hit when an internal boor lying upright along it's long edge blew over and landed on the stand nearby. After much effing and blindng it seems to have survived unscathed, phew. I'd buy another for sure if needed.

And it is day and night what precision this gives you compared to just some blocks approximating the height. Super precise height adjustment, and great rollers. And even the heaviest beam can be moved to a tenth of a mm effortlessly. Don't want to cut without it any more. I originally wanted to buy a miter stand instead. Glad I didn't.

I saw a guy use one of these on a japanese youtube channel. If you've spent time stacking scraps and 2x4's to hold up long pieces at the chop saw as long as I have been.... It was kind of expensive for what it is, but it works really well. Especially if you do commando- chuck your chop saw in the grass and go- stuff. Just crank this thing to where you need it to be and off to the races. Honestly, i haven't r e a l l y needed it for 40 years, and probably could still get by- but it tickles me and I use it all the time.
