Spicy but not too spicy. Good texture.
I wish I could buy this in big jars or jugs. It's so good. Shake well before use! We usually use it with chicken and soba noodles. But it's great in so many things. Add peanut sauce to your cooking and stop missing out!

Absolutely delicious!
I was so happy to find this item on Amazon because I have been having difficulty locating it in my local stores. As a family with celiac, it is important that we have gluten-free products, which this teriyaki sauce is. It is made with gluten-free tamari, rather than soy sauce. Many lines make a tamari, but not a teriyaki sauce. San-J has created an absolutely delicious sauce using the gluten-free tamari. The sauce has the perfect balance of salt and sweet. Upon initially opening the bottle, the product is somewhat watery, but quickly cooks down into a thick sauce, which is absolutely perfect for basting chicken or adding to rice and vegetables. The bottle was well packaged, and there was no leaking or breaking. I have in the past seen this product in stores for slightly less money, but because it is so rare to find it, it is definitely worth the price that I paid.

Tried 4 Different Flavors
I’m celiac and tried four flavors of these. Here’s my opinion: the peanut sauce was spicy and had a bit of an off flavor with not enough peanut taste; the Korean bbq was terrific - mildly spicy with a nice thickness. We used this as a marinade for steak and it worked well. Even the non-celiacs in our house enjoyed this.; the garlic Parmesan was was too spicy. We did not like it.; and finally, the teriyaki. It had a decent flavor but was much thinner than the other sauces, and not a strong enough teriyaki taste. We used this on chicken. We ordered the orange sauce but it’s taking 4 weeks to be delivered. That’s unfortunate. Overall we’d buy the Korean bbq one again, but we’d pass on the others. The one good thing is one of the bottles was plastic, so no breakage issues. The rest arrived in glass with no problems.

Great sauce base
Great sauce as the beginning point for making cold peanut sesame noodles. Very tasty. I add to it but this makes a great base for the sauce.

Broken Bottle ~ No Refund Available
We love this sauce, it adds a great taste to stir fry's & other dishes. Like others have commented, one bottle came broken and it was a mess. It was thrown in a box without proper cushion. Beware, Amazon doesn’t provide refund or replacement. Go elsewhere for this it item.

All taste similar. Very good quality though and GF
Great product, gluten free! Hard to find GF Asian sauces. In the future will only buy one flavor Gluten-free: Really is quality GF Taste: Not a fan of a few flavors, they are edible but not preferred. Favourite is the Mongolian, they do almost all taste the same
