Love this stuff
Duplicolor goes on fine so if you are a heavy-handed sprayer, this will take some getting used to. Because it goes on fine you have so much more control. I find the cans to be slightly temperamental with regard to what angle you hold them at, which can be frustrating. They prefer to be held level (most cans do). Really high end paint, works on plastic, make sure your surface is very clean and "open" i.e. are to accept a primer or other substance. If you are working with a very smooth and shiny surface, fine sanding before application may improve your end result.

First step in a great paint job
I like to build scale model cars. In every build there comes a point where you paint your car. A good primer is the first step toward a good paint job. The Dupli-Color Sandable Primer is made for full-size cars but is excellent on scale models as well. It fills in previous sanding marks and then is sandable itself. Tamiya primer is considered by many to be the standard of the industry, but it only comes in a 6 oz. can at an average price of $12. The Dupli-Color Sandable Primer comes in a 12 oz. can and is $10.99. Twice as much for a dollar less. Sounds like win -- win to me.

Good product
Good sandable primer, dries family quickly and has good adhesion. Paint thickness and coverage is fair but not spectacular. It's durable and a fair price compared to other primers. Overall a good performer.

Worked for what I needed it to.
The white primer lightens the shade of the color your putting down. Worked perfect & still sandable.

Buyer be warned!
Maybe I had a defective can or I didnt use it properly, but this product was terrible. It was really thin and drippy. As I sprayed it, it dripped EVERYWHERE and it took forever to dry. I left my project over night, sanded all if the primer off the next day and sprayed my project with a different primer. Buy at your own risk.
