3M Automotive Performance Masking Tape, 03431, 18 mm x 32 m, 1 Roll

I would recommend this tape. We used it to decorate our vehicle for a Trunk n Treat event. It is easy to use and works well. No scissors needed, sticks well, then removes easily.

Save your money and your time and buy the quality 3m masking tape it's never been cheap you get what you pay for. I have used this green tape on everything from farm equipment to wild custom paint jobs for many years. It does not leave a nasty film behind you have to worry about. This tape is plenty thick and It cuts nicely with a razor blade. Tears easy you dont have to fight it. This tape has a good adhesion it is strong adhesive so be careful removing it.

Exactly what i needed for my painting project. I may never use blue painters tape again! Was able to follow flat curves. very sticky, yet removes completely and easily.

I finally got a chance to test this tape out. It worked well and definitely did not hurt the finish of the car when I took it off (was on under an hour). Using taped allowed me to give a good treatment of the trim without getting anything on the paint ... which is a pain to get off and in the long run takes longer than putting the tape on/taking it off. Only negative comment is I wonder if it is worth the price. Maybe if you are going to let it on the vehicle for days/weeks it might be safer to buy this; however, for a quick off and on I think regular blue tape would work as well, plus this is so thick it is hard to work with in small areas or around curves.

This is the best masking tape I’ve ever used hands down. Highly recommend this brand and will be using only this going forward.

I used this to mask off the decals, pin-stripes and various rubber and stainless parts of our Boat while I compounded the gelcoat to remove oxidation. The tape was easy to apply, followed the contours of curved decals and held up great to the buffing wheel. When done it was easily removed.

I purchased this tape because it said it was good around curves. I used it to place around various bathroom accessories which we had just replaced so that we could "touch up" paint. It worked pretty well. I really does not stretch, however it was pretty easy to place around the fixtures and protect them while I touched up the areas that needed it. What I really liked was how easy it was to remove the tape when I finished. Overall, I would say that it did a good job. If you need tape for small areas: i.e. around towel bars, around door handles, this tape will do the job. Because it's only .7 inches in width, it is easy to maneuver. Was it 100%, no, but nothing really is. It did a great job and I was very satisfied.

Works as good as advertised. Its more money but worth it. Doesn’t leave any residue or sticky surface, its thickness covers a wide area with very short tape.
