Plant Therapy's oils are the real deal! Before I found their products, I wasted a whole lot of money trying to find a high quality peppermint oil I could use. I wanted one that was totally pure, providing a long lasting, strong scent that would work for my purpose. I'll admit my purpose is rather unusual; I live in a rural area with lots of critters, and I use it as a natural, safe and very effective rodent repellent, for mice, chipmunks, squirrels and it even seems to be effective with some pesky snakes that like to hang out sunning themselves on my stone steps and walkways. If the peppermint oil is the least bit watered down or in any way diluted in its purity, the odor will not be nearly pungent or long lasting enough to deter them. I love that Plant Therapy sells it in the 3.3oz quantity, because the typical tiny bottles wouldn't be nearly enough since I use it in so many applications: in my RV to keep mice out, in my tractor engines and car engine where the mice and red squirrels like to build nests on warm engines, and then proceed to munch on the wire coverings which may contain soybean by-products often used in newer vehicles, which evidently are very tasty for them! I learned that the hard way with an $800.00 repair on my SUV's electrical harness, the squirrels chewed the coverings off every single wire!! I know most people use the oil as a calming scent, or for their skin, etc., but if you have the same issue as I do with various rodents, here are a couple of tips for you: Do not put droplets directly on the counters or in the drawers of your RV, nor directly on engine parts, etc., if it is quality oil, it will be sticky, then gooey, and eventually dry quite hard and be a pain to clean up. I first tried putting a few drops on small cardboard squares, cotton balls etc. but when the smell eventually weakens due to evaporation, which it will depending on where it is, the critters are thankful for the nesting materials. Not good. So, my current methodology is to save small plastic, metal or glass containers that have a top you can punch a few holes in, or better yet, have existing holes, (an old salt or pepper shaker, my favorite; old herb & spice bottles that have the shaker holes under the cap) Apply 3-4 drops of the oil on a cotton ball, place it inside the container and the close the shaker top and the open holes allow the odor to waft out in the surrounding area, and the strong scent lasts longer by being enclosed. Check your containers every so often and if the scent has diminished, apply 3-4 additional drops on the same cotton ball. I have a few in my RV that are so soaked, I haven't had to add oil for months. In the summer, I use a $10.00 diffuser I bought on Amazon and I fill it with the water and 4-5 drops of the Peppermint oil maybe every two weeks. It doesn't need to run all the time; when the scent gets weak, fire up the diffuser. Bottom line: whether you are using it for a calming aroma, or the opposite end of the spectrum, like me, it is the very best Peppermint oil I have found, and believe me, the search has been extensive!! Thanks Plant Therapy!

I have tried other brands but this is my favorite. Other brands can be more earthy. This brand is very minty and has a sweet mint smell to it. My whole family loves it, I won’t buy any other brand after using Plant Therapy Oils. Good value compared to MLM essential oil brands.

Smells great and is exactly as promised. I was looking for a good peppermint oil to replace the small jar that I had. This is probably.

There are so many fakes out there, and regulation on what you need to call something an essential oil is practically non-existent. From third-party testing, Plant Therapy is actually what it claims to be--pure oils. They are the best value proposition for that, they provide the most oils (which are real oils) for the cheapest amount of money. The peppermint oil is fabulous for several things. It clears out bad scents really well, and it also can help stimulate and keep people awake. We've been using it to try and deter some opposoms under our house since they've been giving our cats fleas, and we've seen them less and less. Love this brand, have had great experiences with them.
