Haven't gotten my birds yet but honestly it smells good i kinda want to eat it myself it is very large so it will last a while an honestly overall I believe that it is a great food for birds

It’s smelly. I was under the impression it had fruits and veggies in it, which it does not, this was a disappointment. Some of the seeds seems rather large for parakeets, but I will see how mine do with it. They added yellow and blue food coloring for some reason to parts of this feed, which I see no purpose in. I also question the quality of the grain as I have concerns about pesticides used on crops. The packaging was well done however I did transfer into a glass bowl with a tight lid that I keep refrigerated and pull one pint at a time that I keep buy my birdcage. I felt like this would keep the feed fresh and maybe prevent bugs as some people in these reviews have complained about. It’s my first try for this food and I will make a fruit and veggie supplement myself as I give it a try. I may or may not order again I have to see how my birds will do and how I feel overall after a couple of weeks. 05/16 update My parakeets don’t care for this feed. Many pieces are just too large. It smells and there are no fruits or veggies in it. They are always anxious to get to their food every morning but not with this food. They jumped around back and forth not even wanting to go to their food bowl. I won’t purchase this again.

I’ve night this twice, first time shortly after I noticed we got so many moths out of no where. I didn’t think anything of it. I was able to get rid of them with the traps and killing them. Second time I bought it again, and once again!!! Infestation of moths, this time twice as much. I decided to do research and sure enough, I found out through others, they’ve had the same issue! The seeds are great and I thought it was a good deal, but wow, never again!!! I’ve lived in this home for almost 6 years never had issue until those two times we bought this particular food. It’s disgusting!
